Biergarten question

Hi,

I want to see the 8:05pm show at Biergarten one night-- do we have to eat? Can we just order some drinks and desserts? If yes, do we need an ADR?

I believe you have to sit for dinner. The bar in Germany is outside the restaurant. Its a buffet and the food is fantastic. We make it a "must-see" every trip. Hope this helps.

They don't just serve dessert. It is part of the buffet. I am not sure if they will just serve drinks. It seems to me you would have to pay for the buffet or at least an entertainment fee to sit and watch the show. You could give a call. I second the other poster though. The meal is wonderful and worth the price of the buffet! We loved it!

I'm not sure what else to add. This is a buffet restaurant, and you could possibly be subject to an entertainment fee if you are just drinking. I would call 407-WDW-DINE to find out for sure. This is a fantastic place to eat!

Yes, you're subject to an entertainment fee ... which happens to be the same price as the buffet! (just kidding) You can only see the show inside Biergarten if you dine in Biergarten, which means purchasing the buffet.

The problem would be lack of space for any non-diners to watch the show. All available space is pretty much taken up by dining tables, stage, buffett area. (Plus the giant waterwheel/mill and trees in the corner!) But we love the Biergarten and recommend it for the food and show. Forget just watching the show - make a nice fun dinner of it!

Ok, I must've missed that post. What kind of show do they have?! I'd never heard of it before. What time should we make ADR for if we want to see the show?

It's actually less "show" and more "German Band". Very good though. They play throughout dinner, taking short breaks. You will see it no matter what time you dine there.
