We (DH, DD8, DS5) ate at Biergarten for dinner last Friday. I made the ADR mainly because of how good I hear the show is. I had pretty low expectations for the food and fully expected to think it was just OK. Well was I wrong! The food was delicious, especially the desserts-that Bavarian cheesecake is to die for, and I'm not really a fan of German food. That just goes to prove that at WDW you just have to try a restaurant for yourself! I'd highly recommend Biergarten to anyone, especially if you have kids.

Glad you like it, Beirgarten is one of our favorite places of all time!

I'm so glad you went and loved it! I've found this for myself, that I have to try out a restaurant and not just listen to the reviews here at the Dis. We all have different tastes, don't we? ;)

:wizard:

We had lunch at the Biergarten during our last WDW vacation in 2006 and really enjoyed it. We will eating there again this year. It's a great way to try a lot of different German foods plus the kids like the German band.:rockband:

we were there last Friday and tried to get in but they werent taking walkups......Hubby always gets the cheesecake FIRST and then eats his meal....we love going there too

I too ate there last week, A definate must do for me on future trips.~!:goodvibes

Me and my 2yr old ate at Birgertein Last Last Friday Sept 5th around 8ish and I tell you we are far from German but we enjoyed the food, and we meet the nicest couple and their daughter this was a really nice place and that dog on Potato leek soup was off the chain and again like someone else mention it is important to read the reviews here but hey you got to check out restaurants for yourself!! Glade you liked it!!

The Biergarten has been a must do for us for years now. We always enjoy the food and we are never disappointed. In fact we are going to be eating there again 2 weeks from tomorrow. I can hardly wait. I always try to eat my weight in sausage. :rotfl:

ohh my gosh..my favorite in Epcot..this food was soooo good!! we made no adr and only waited about 15 min to get a seat!! It was great!!
The food was to die for, i am German decent, and wow!! I thought the food was soo good! Especially the pudding, pretzel bread, and bavarian cheesecake!! Ahahahaaa i can taste it now!!:thumbsup2

I'm not a big German food fan, but really enjoy Biergaten! Hubby LOVES LOVES LOVES it and now it's a must eat if we're having a big meal @ EPCOT. The show is cute and entertaining for little ones for sure, though we don't have any. Took my parents last year too and they loved it. Have recommended it to many in the last few years and everyone has a good time and enjoys the food. There are also some "american" foods to choose from for the kiddos on the buffet.

We have only been to wdw twice, the first time we were 21 and had a wonderful dinner at zie garten! The second time we were 40 ( dec 2006) and had a 4 year old and almost 2 year old, so we id not go. This year it is a must. I don't think it was a buffet 22 yrs ago, but they did have a band. Since we took german in grammer school we could sing along to someo f the songs. Gotta get me some of that cheescake this time ( we should head in oct 2009)

Another fan posting!!! We made a last minute ADR for Biergarten for lunch. Had an awesome time, sat right by the dance floor and even had a German table partner!

Loved the food and the beer flight was yummy!!!:3dglasses

I'm from Wisconsin, so a lot of the food was very familiary to me. And it sure helped having 2 of these.:drinking1 The food and atmosphere was great.

Another fan here! I almost wish I had 2 ADRs here. I love it. I think the CMs are beyond friendly and helpful, food is great, atmosphere gets an A+ and the band is tons of fun too!
Sehr Sehr Gut!!!

Oh Yay!!! I'm so glad to hear this, I have been very aprehensive about eating here. We have an ADR for here in Dec., DH lived in Germany as a kid and really wants to eat there, I was worried about the food for my DDs.

Glad you liked it!! Biergarten is my favorite restaurant, I ate there 4 times on our 2 week vacation in August!!

I'm glad your famly enjoyed it!! For our family it's a must do every trip. If we can we try and fit it in twice per trip.

DW isnt crazy about it, but me and the kids like it. On longer trips, we always try to get this one in.
