We have a reservation for the Biergarten at 7:30. How long do you think I should schedule for this when making our touring plans?

It's always about an hour give or take a few minutes. Hope you enjoy it!

I don't think we've ever gone over 60 minutes at Biergarten (including the wait to be seated which is almost always withing a couple of minutes of arriving) and that includes taking in the show. You could certainly do it a little quicker, if you wanted or stretch it out a bit if you were looking to lounge around a bit. I use 70 mins in my touring plans for all my TS dining, as a general rule.

As people have said, you can eat as fast or as slow as you like. I think the unknown is how long you will wait after your reservation time before you are seated. I think if you left an hour and a half total from 7:30, you should be good. In other words, you can most likely expect to be out of there before 9:00.

Yes- an hour is about right for the buffet. We've gone mid afternoon and probably stayed an hour and a half because the restaurant emptied out and we were enjoying the show.

The 1st 2 times we went, we got to see almost no show, just the last 3 minutes. So now, I check in and I say, I want to be sure the show will be on, if not I'm sitting there till it rolls around. And in summer when it's stinkin hot, with a cold beer, it's not the worse place to spend your time. Besides after this buffet, I'm not riding anything.

We went to Biergarten for dinner that past December as part of the Candlelight Processional dining package. It took us about 90 minutes.

We did it in 35 minutes before, but have also milked it for 2 hours. Depends on how many beers and trips to the buffet you will make. 1 hour and 15 would be average.

I don’t think I’ve ever gotten out of any TS restaurant in Disney in less than 90 minutes.

I would try to get out of there by 8:50 and walk over to the lagoon to see Illuminations at 9:00. If that’s your plan, let your server know so that you can settle up your check early and leave on time to catch the show.

We are not huge eaters, but the atmosphere and the beer consumption (it takes me quite a while to drink a stein of beer) can make us stay longer than we normally would.

Especially if we have a great table mates!

We can stay over an hour, but you could stay less if necessary.
