Biergarten / Anniversary cake

Quick (sorta) questions:

I have an ADR for the Biergarten on my anniversary (Oct 23) and had planned to pre-order a cake for my wife as a nifty surprise.

Question #1: Is the Biergarten a restaurant that will make a cake?
Question #2: I have heard many wonderful things about the Biergarten desserts, and seeing as it is a buffet, one could pick what they were in the mood for. Am I better server to order the cake for our room or pick some other sneaky surprise for her or just go with the cake at the Biergarten?

I humbly seek your advice oh Wise Sages of the DIS.

Honestly, being a woman, I would love for the cake to be in the room, to share with my hubby, alone. Champagne if you like it, etc.

Biergarten is very good, pick her up a little surprise and give it to her in the restaurant if you like, heck, give her little surprises all day long, here and there.
