Just some background, Chuck Graham is confined to a wheelchair due to an auto accident. That is not funny at all, so don't flame me for being insensitive. I'm just merely laughing at Biden's mistake.

As for Biden I also went oops when he said that....I felt his embarrassment and how he tryed to cover that up....I bet he went to sleep that night hitting himself on the forehead trying to get rid of that picture

I remember when a reporter was interviewing Bob Kerrey (who lost a leg in Viet Nam) and made some comment in regards to a political situation like "cut the legs out from under you" or something and Kerrey said "Too late!" The reporter was humiliated but it was FUNNY (and Kerrey laughed the loudest).

I thought Biden made a terrible faux pas, but really recovered and turned it into an honor of the man rather than an embarrassment of a politician- and I don't even particularly like (or dislike- guess I am just neurtal) Biden! He didn't let his mistake diminish his acknowledgement of the man- the emphasis managed to stay on the honored individual. May we all do as well when we put our proverbial feet in our mouths- or in this case, down our throats!
