Bicycle Riding in Stores (yes, Walmart)

We don't ride a bicycle unless we intend to buy it and then it is only enough to check to make sure it is the proper size.

Folks who do it to pass the time in any store are beyond rude IMHO.

Ditto

Were they screcching on the bikes? Maybe they were riding to hear themselves ride?;):rotfl:

I would have said something rude as well. It is not a playground. It is a store. Of course, there are some that think walmart is a public place and we should all "get over it."

No, they weren't screeching on the bikes but they could have been riding just to ride.;)

I just wished that I would have said the rude comment to the actual parents instead of accidently saying something to the children. It just slipped out before I even thought about it.

Oh and to clear things up, one child informed me that the other two were not with him.

I was at Walmart today and yes, there was a kid (about 10 yo) riding a bicycle up and down the extremely crowded aisles. After just about getting hit for the second time by the kid, I told the father that he should not be allowing him to ride the bike in the store as it was packed. Dad finally made the kid get off the bike and flashed me the one finger salute.

Walmart----no need to even say anymore!

uh--yea ---they are.

Well, I shop at Walmart and so do the rest of my family and we most assuredly are NOT trailer trash. Nor do we let our babies screech or our kids ride bikes. We don't have tatoos, mullets, or camoflage pants. All 5 of us have college degrees. Not a mobile home among us. However we do own 4 RVs, so maybe that counts.
