Saturday we not only had our party with our wish granters but we had two more Big Give packages to open. Fun, Fun, Fun...my parents were excited because they got to be here to watch the kids open some of the boxes! It is pretty fun to watch because the kids just get so excited.

Here they are being a bit silly because they had a pretty big audience with the box.

My dad cut the box open for them and they started digging in...it was not until later I found the note...Silly grandpa did not know the kids would not stop for the note!

There were Tinkerbell and Terrance Character toys...At first I think Fuller thought they were both fairies but here is his face when he saw there was a boy one for him. He is always asking for boy toys to go with Chelsea's so this was a great treat for him.

The kids were both super excited to find bookmarks with their names on them. We just recently started reading some basic chapter books with the kids and a few nights ago we started a new one and then needed a bookmark. We did not really have one so we used a folded piece of paper. It never really set well with Fuller who was just positive we needed a bookmark. So when he pulled it out of his package he immediately was excited!

Chelsea was immediately in love with her Christmas party bracelets that were in her package. I think she wore them the rest of the day and when she went to bed I packed them away for our trip.

There were cool shaded shades for Fuller. He thinks it is so funny to put the flap down and say "Hey were did everyone go...I can't see you!"

Chelsea was super excited to find a princess necklace and bracelet set in her package...she also got an adorable bookmark but somehow I did not get it in the picture. Sorry!

The princess Necklace and bracelet set was a huge hit with our Bitty Boo. Here she is trying them on.

At this point I know you are thinking who would have sent my family such a lovely Big Give package...I was super touched to see it was Aimee, Gee-off, Drew, Carter, Brenna and Emily better know around the Dis as Emilyswish. I loved following their PTR and am loving her TR as I am sure anyone who reads it would be. How amazingly wonderful and thoughtful of you to be a part of our Big Give. The kids LOVED everything and my family loved getting to watch them open the package. Thank you again so much for your treats and pixie dust...Amazing and wonderful! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Yay, you got our box!!! It was such fun to put together a "park and plane" survival kit. I am really happy they liked all the stuff and I hope it gets lots of use on your trip!!

Thank you again so very much. Everything was just so perfect and you helped take care of quite a few things on my list to get still...extra lovely! It will all get lots of use. I can't believe a week from today we will be arriving at GKTW...our excitement level is high! Thanks to you and your family for such wonderful thoughtfulness!

Thanks so much...I felt like the oncology appointment was a big hurdle to enjoying the trip to it's fullest so knowing her counts were great gave me a nice reprieve from worry (for at least a few weeks)!

So many lovely treats for the parks and travel...we are so thankful!

Thanks! I always get nervous before her clinic visits and I love the few weeks I don't worry as much after them. The big give has been amazing!

Awww poor Kylee, she must hate the needles. I am not sure how it happened that Chelsea is so brave but she really does not seem at all fazed by any poking. We do it pretty often so I am glad she does not seem to care!

I'm glad you can really use the bookmarks and that they liked their accessories. Sorry the note was kind of hidden behind that Donald Duck tag!

Sorry for having fallen off the face of the earth for the last week...we have had bronchitis x4. Yup that's right we are an entire family on antibiotics but seem to be on the mend. I forget how hard it is to be sick and have your kids sick at the same time. A full nights sleep last night was dreamy and we are finally coming out of our haze. I just keep on telling myself it is better now then on our trip and I know that things could be much harder as this is just a little hiccup. Hopefully all the people on the plane will not be mortified by our coughing!

We are mere days away from our trip and I feel a bit behind after a week homebound. About half of the packing is done with some real focus on it today and I think it will mostly be done tomorrow. No matter what we leave on Tuesday morning so yahoo!

I have been very delayed in some thank you's for amazing Big Give thoughtfulness and I feel horrible about it. I am so sorry for the delay...I kept thinking I would get on the computer and then I didn't and I am so sorry. Anyway, here we go, back on track. Here the kids are with the package...still a bit silly as it was also after the send off party from MAW.

I helped open this one so I was able to catch the note and read it to the kids. The note was so sweet and kind.

Then both kids helped dig in to see what was in the envelope.

Such beautiful hair clips for Chelsea...She was so excited (and so was I as I love dolling her up)!

Then Chelsea says "Look mama the clips can be in my hair or on the headband. It is so beautiful"

We had fun trying on all the different combinations and well she loved it. She was in girl heaven...all the time Fuller was begging to open the coloring pages and markers. Poor boy as he was told it has to wait for our trip.

She was not too willing to let me really fix her hair so here is her self styled look that she kept in for about the next 4 hours. She kept telling everyone she was so beautiful. And I just loved the glow and smile she had. She was excited and loved fixing her own hair!

There were three bows in for Chelsea...One to match her Scooby Outfit, one to match her Daisy Duck Outfit and a football one which she wore last Sunday to help me cheer on my beloved Packers and so for luck again she will wear it for Superbowl Sunday! There was also the coolest drawing kit. The markers will only mark color on the special paper...sounds perfect for traveling. All the marks my kids make on the tray table will not show up. Yeah.

So the cutest, most lovely part of all of this is that the package came from Ann (Dis:Nurse Ann) who I "knew" and you may know from following sweet Emily's (Dis: Emily's Wish) PTR. How fun is it that the packages arrived on the same day! Thank you so much for the lovely hair clips...I don't know how you did it but they match everything perfectly. Chelsea has already worn the football one quite a few times (since the Packers won last time she wore it I also think it is lucky) and keeps on digging the others out of my "to be packed pile" to try them on. I can't wait to see them on her during our trip. Fuller keeps asking when he can use his "magic paper and colors" so he will be excited to open them up on the airplane! Thank you so much for your wonderful thoughtfulness it has been so very appreciated.

Thank you again so much!!! The kids loved everything but are super in love with the bookmarks. We just used one tonight in Fuller's Toy Story Chapter book. They are so cool. Don't worry at all about the note...I don't think it was hidden I think Opa (that's my dad) was not monitoring the situation too much! It's all lovely and Fuller got to hang the note in his room which he loves.

Thanks again...it was really lovely getting such a thoughtful package from your wonderful family. After having the privilege of following your PTR and now your wonderful TR it was nice to "know" the family who blessed ours.
