What awesome Big Gives you have received..the Cinderella dress is wonderful and my little girl would love it! and the Jessie one is too cute... it belongs out on the range! You have been blessed and I'm sure the givers have been too! Thanks for the photos!

Saturday another box appeared on our doorstep and the kids were pretty excited to open it when we got home...no waiting since everyone was home! :cool1:

Here they are with the box. I think Chelsea was a in a pretty silly mood this evening. :cutie:Warning---In many of the pictures coming up you will find that Chelsea is not the most lady like in her sitting. For this reason she wears leggings under many of her dresses and skirts.:rotfl:

DSC05407-1.jpg

We pulled the tab on the box and let them dig into the box to see what was inside.

DSC05409-1.jpg

They each had a bag...they figured out pretty quickly which one was for which.;)

DSC05411-1.jpg

Inside the bags were so many cool treats...coloring kits, card games, glow bracelets, drawing boards, photo books, and some great new shirts for Fuller. I was helping the kids look in their bags and my wonderful husband took pictures...all of which are the of the tops of our heads so imagine pulling all these wonderful treats from the bags.:rotfl:

DSC05426-1.jpg

The drawing boards in the bags were a HUGE hit. I have never seen ones like them as when the kids draw on them it is different colors. The kids think it is the coolest! Here are some pictures with them.

Then I finally let Fuller put on his new shirts. When he pulled this one out of the bag his reaction was pretty much this "Mama can you believe it is Phineas and Freb? I HAVE a Phineas and Ferb shirt!":woohoo:

DSC05437-1.jpg

Chelsea had asked to try on one of her dresses again from previous boxes and I can't really say no to that so she jumped in the picture wearing her pink Cinderella dress.

Here they both are and Fuller is in his super cool new Cars shirt.

Thank you so very much Dania (Dis:CP2002) for the wonderful, thoughtful, and very loved package of treats for the kids. Fuller really loves his new shirts and looks so handsome in them. All the fun stuff in them is awesome but I have to tell you the kids have not put the drawing boards down...to say they LOVE them is an understatement. :love:I am already thinking about using the bags this summer as swim bags too! Thank you again for your thoughtfulness. We appreciate everything so very much.

I am so glad the package arrived safe and sound. The drawing boards I lucked into by accident. I am so glad they enjoyed them.

Just a quick update we are a little over a week until we leave and I am thinking it is time to get out all the lists I have made and start getting things rounded up from around the house. We have a some countdown calendars---with 23 days left to go I finally got one made for the kids. They cover up a number each day with a few Disney stickers and seem to be having fun with it.

DSC05189.jpg

DSC05191.jpg

DSC05192.jpg

A few days later Chelsea's wonderful wish granter called and told me she had made a countdown calendar for Chelsea. I had no idea she would do this so it was a nice surprise! She made her a cute princess calendar to use and everyday Chelsea gets to put a princess sticker on it.

DSC05404.jpg

She also brought a treat jar countdown to start using at two weeks out. Each day the kids get a small pack of M&M's to share. They LOVE the treat everyday. It really was a fun idea. She decorated the jar really cute with princess stickers which Chelsea loved!:lovestruc

DSC05464.jpg

I think it is pretty safe to say we will know when it is time to go!

This Saturday at lunch we are having our going away party with the wish granters. The kids are super excited because they found out there would be pizza and ice cream cake involved.

Now it is time to get just a few things done before we leave:

  • Visit to Oncology doctor for clean bill of health before we leave
  • Get house/cat sitter all set up for their stay while we are gone
  • Get kids backpack/carry-on bags packed for the trip
  • Review plans for trip with Husband so he has some idea of what we might be doing;)
  • Get all the amazing new outfits packed and ready to go---decide how many bags we need to pack as checking luggage costs will add up
  • Get all the laundry done so I can finish the packing:laundy:
  • Start reviewing and actually using all the packing lists I have been making as things came to mind the last few months

The excitement level here is at maximum levels...kids and adults! I can't believe we are going to Disney World. What an amazing wish come true!

Coming Soon---we have two new big give boxes waiting to open up tonight. It has been torture for ALL as they arrived yesterday but tonight is the first time we will ALL be home at the same time to open them.:)

I am so glad the package arrived safe and sound. The drawing boards I lucked into by accident. I am so glad they enjoyed them.

It did arrive safe and sound and everything is so very loved. How funny that you lucked into the drawing boards...they are played with all the time. I tried twice to pack them away for the trip and they beg to get them back out! Thanks again for everything. It was all so lovely and thoughtful and we appreciate it so very much. :)

Ahhh....love their faces and the "love/hug" picture of them in the Woody and Jessie outfits. I am so happy they love them and they look so cute in them.
Thanks for posting all of the pictures. You do a great job of journaling everything so we feel like we are there watching them open them. So happy to be part of your Big Give. I hope you all have a wonderful trip!

I'm really enjoying yor ptr...... I like the calendar idea....;) It is so much fun to see the photos of the kids enjoying their BigGives!

Everything is aMAWzing!!! I loved the calendars too. The excitement at your house must be palpable! :cool1::yay:I am so excited for you all!:woohoo:

So as I mentioned in my previous post on Friday we got two boxes and the kids were so excited to open them but we had to wait until Papa got home. There was so much anticipation...they once again could hardly let me take a picture with the box.

DSC05090.jpg

I think I got busy here helping them open the box and plastic bags in it so no pictures of that...I have to admit we all got pretty excited when we saw what was in the box and for a few moments I totally forgot about the camera!:)

DSC05094.jpg

The shirts are so cute and loved. There were shirts for the whole family. We had the camera take a timer shot so it is not the best but you get the idea...here we all are in our Chelsea's Wish Trip Shirts.

DSC05093.jpg

After we put them on no one wanted to take them off so we played for the rest of the night in them. Here is Chelsea hanging out.

DSC05096.jpg

Here is my little football man with his shirt on.

DSC05103.jpg

Fuller and Chelsea playing in their tent with Mama.

DSC05110.jpg

There were also two other shirts in the box one especially for me, with my favorite Snow White, and one for my husband with a favorite of his Jedi Mickey. We let the kids take some pictures of us...did not turn out (they tend to push the button and not wait until it takes the picture before moving so they are blurs of color)so I just have a picture of the shirts. Stay tuned for the trip report and you will see pictures of them in action on our trip...they are so cool!

DSC05185.jpg

Thank you Chiara (Dis:cogero) for the amazing shirts for our family. :worship:We love them and had fun wearing them around the house and can't wait to wear them on our trip. :yay: I am beginning to think it will not be easy to keep them from wearing the shirts everyday from now until the trip! Thanks again for the very special shirts...We love them!:lovestruc

These shirts are amazing -- I so wish we had time for shirts like this BUT we are leaving on Friday due to the need to go quickly. Anyone know where I could get shirts quickly?

HAVE A WONDERFUL time.

So when I last posted I had my checklist of things to do and on that list was visit to the oncology clinic to get a final go ahead and all is clear health wise. So Friday afternoon was spent at the clinic where my brave little love just sat there and watched as they took her blood. After they were done she looked up at me and said "I did not even whine...I was very brave!" Brave she was and the end results of the day were great. Even with a bit of a cold all her counts looked great...music to our families ears!

So dinner was done, dishes done and as the kids kept on telling us it was box opening time! Fun, Fun, Fun!:cool1: So here they are with the box.

DSC05474.jpg

Inside the box was the sweetest note so we read it together. Here is the part where the note talked about Chelsea and her curtsey practice. :cutie:

DSC05480.jpg

And here is the part of the note where it talked about Fuller being a great big brother. Awwwwww!

DSC05481.jpg

There was a package in the box for each of us...Christopher and I decided to let the kids open theirs first.:rotfl: Here they are kind of posing for a picture with the packages.

DSC05483.jpg

Finally able to tear on in. Yahoooooo!

DSC05484.jpg

Inside the packages were a stunning and beautiful Sleeping beauty dress for Chelsea and a handsome and wonderful Prince shirt. The kids were so excited and LOVE the clothes. They both immediately had to try them on. Fuller had to do so over his already multiple layers so ignore the cars shirt under the wonderful prince shirt and Chelsea had to leave on her magenta tights...oh the fashion choices of a 3 and 5 year old!

DSC05488.jpg

So as I mentioned there was also packages for Christopher and I. Here is Chelsea helping me out with mine.

DSC05490.jpg

I love, love, love my Minnie shirt! It is so cute.:lovestruc

DSC05493.jpg

Here is Fuller ready to help papa with his package.

DSC05494.jpg

Here is Christopher with his Goofy shirt...perfect for him and he thinks it is great!

DSC05497.jpg

Chelsea then spent some time twirling all around the living room...it is hard with my camera to get shots of her doing this. I swear they are all of her back.:) She loves the dress and would not take it off so you will see her in it in the next big give thank you as she opened the next box in it.:lovestruc

DSC05501.jpg

Fuller got a sword and his peter pan hat to go with his prince shirt. He was just so excited about the new shirt...so cool!:yay:

DSC05502.jpg

Thank you so very much Kendra (Dis: effervescent) for making such a beautiful dress for Chelsea...she keeps telling me she is a princess when she wears the dress and just loves it. Fuller, her prince, loves his shirt too! It was so thoughtful of you to make these amazing clothes for them. I can not wait to surprise them both at BBB and with lunch at the castle in their amazing, beautiful, handsome...perfect for the day clothes you made for them. Christopher and I love our shirts too. The Minnie is so sweet and I just love her. Christopher has always liked Goofy so the shirt for him was a special treat. I can tell he was excited about it because he personally made sure the shirt was in his "to pack" pile. :)Thanks again so much. With every Big Give thank you post I make I feel like the word thank you just is not enough to express how thankful and grateful for this experience we are. So please think of this as the biggest thank you EVER coming your way Kendra.:thanks:

So when we last left off the kids were busy being a princess and prince and were not about to take off the new clothes.:goodvibes They were however super excited to open the other box so we did just that. Here they are with the box.

DSC05512.jpg

Here we are reading the super nice note that came with the amazing box of supplies and goodies. You can see the Tinkerbell and Fairies band aid Chelsea got after her blood draw. She is really proud of those band aids and does not take them off until they fall off. :)

DSC05514.jpg

We opened the box with many oohhhs and aaahhhs from the kids. There were so many things in this box...quite a few of which I now get to take off of my "still need to get list" Here are a few pictures of Fuller, Chelsea and I looking into the box.

DSC05521.jpg

DSC05523.jpg

It was so fun to find all the treasures in this box. Sunscreen, Cars fruit snacks, design making flashlights, sanitizing wipes, gum, photo albums, princess stamps and pens, glow sticks, silly bandz, tinkerbell hairbrush set and so much more. It was so great and like I said earlier quite a few things I still needed can now be taken off my list...yahoo!:woohoo: Here are the kids with all the amazing treats.

DSC05541.jpg

Chelsea was really beaming...she really had fun seeing everything that was in the box and kept saying "oh, thank you people for the fruit snacks" or "oh, thank you friends for the Tinkerbell brush".

DSC05545.jpg

Here is Fuller with his photo album which I can't wait to fill with photos for him and the flashlight. Both kids got a flashlight and they have had a BLAST playing with them in our dark basement!

DSC05535.jpg

Here is Chelsea with her photo album and her princess silly bandz. She LOVES them.

DSC05531.jpg

The kids were also super excited to get some fruit snacks. They don't get them very often and they are a favorite treat so they were excited. They each got to have one during movie night...The Princess and the Frog.

DSC05552.jpg

Thanks you so much Mary and family for the amazing thoughtful box of disney supplies, fun and treats. It was so much fun to open the box and see all the fun things inside. Christopher totally laughed as I pulled things out of the box because he knew many were things I still needed to get. ;) The kids have had so much fun with the flashlights and the princess stamps. She has already packed the tinker bell brush in her backpack. :cutie: We appreciate EVERYTHING so very much and will put it all to good use! The entire box was so very thoughtful of your family to put together for ours. Thank you again for your amazing thoughtfulness!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so very much. The Woody and Jessie outfits are so loved and they can't wait to wear them...in fact they have tried them on quite a few more times since we first opened the box! We appreciate it so much and can't wait to see them in the parks all decked out! Thank you again for everything.:thanks:

I'm really enjoying yor ptr...... I like the calendar idea....;) It is so much fun to see the photos of the kids enjoying their BigGives!

Thanks so much for following along. The Big Give has been amazing...we are so grateful for everything.

Everything is aMAWzing!!! I loved the calendars too. The excitement at your house must be palpable! :cool1::yay:I am so excited for you all!:woohoo:

Thanks---the calendars have been really fun and a great way for the kids to track how long until we leave. The excitement level is crazy. The kids keep on bouncing all around the house...I might be bouncing a bit too!

These shirts are amazing -- I so wish we had time for shirts like this BUT we are leaving on Friday due to the need to go quickly. Anyone know where I could get shirts quickly?

HAVE A WONDERFUL time.

The shirts are amazing and we are excited to wear them. I am not sure but I think there is a place on the Dis where some creative people can make you a design you can then print out on special iron on transfer paper and then iron on to t-shirts. I would ask the question over on the MAW thread to get a better answer then I gave!;) I think we might be there at the same time so we will have to keep a look out for each other. Have a great trip!

Yay, you got our box!!! It was such fun to put together a "park and plane" survival kit. I am really happy they liked all the stuff and I hope it gets lots of use on your trip!!

So happy Princess Chelsea's appointment was great!!!!

looks like more wonderful things came your way....the plane trip will go so quickly with all their new goodies to keep them entertained!!
