we are leaving for our first Disney trip next Saturday. I just called yesterday and was lucky enough to get a reservation for BBB for Easter, but it is at Disney springs. For that day we have magic kingdom planned and to come back to our resort (Poly) for the afternoon to take a break. I have a reservation for BBB at Disney springs at 5:20pm and we have a CRT ressie at 8:20pm. Will we have enough time to get to CRT? Do you think anything might open up for magic kingdom BBB instead? Do I just keep calling back? It's a pain to call, last time I was on hold for an hour. If you were in my position would you keep the BBB ressie? Is the Disney springs location just as good and magical? Thanks for any suggestions and help.

You should allow 1.5hrs for transportation between DS and MK. That means you need to leave DS no later than 6:50pm. Not sure if there are direct buses from DS to MK. If there isn't, take a bus to the Contemporary and walk to MK.

I'd keep calling to see if you can move it to the MK location. Sometimes people do cancel (kids get sick, etc.). I'd be especially vigilant about calling starting the day before you want the appointment (i.e. Saturday).

I would hold onto that reservation. I think you are fortunate to get one that close to your arrival.

The fact that you are going to CRT will increase the excitement. There are a number of good photo locations; the murals in the castle, the fountain outside the castle, the carrousel, etc.

Three hours is a good amount of time. I would be there early. You can look around and pick out a dress if you are buying one or shop. BBB is in the large Disney store. If you will have a car, it might be the best option. There is no direct connection from Disney Springs to the parks. You can take a bus to the Poly and ride the monorail or cab or Uber over.

Our daughter did four BBB trips and CRT meals. She loved them.

Have fun

Not any more. It moved out of the store to it's own location

Do you still plan to leave MK and go to the resort for a break? If so, you can get a bus to DS from Poly. If not, you can't get a bus to DS from MK till after 4:00. If it's before 4 you can monorail or walk to CR and catch a bus there
For getting back, I'd probably bus to GF and then take the monorail from there (1 less stop than from Poly) if you have no need to return to the resort.
or
How old is the child? Can you use Uber/Lyft instead of Disney buses? That will save time. You can use it to/from DS if you need to

It's been five years now since my daughter has done BBB. Things change I guess.

Yes, I still want to go back to Poly for a break. This will be a very early and super late day. We want to go for a 7am EMH ride most of the rides and do breakfast at MK and then head back around 1 or 2pm to the resort. What time should I leave the Poly for DS to make it to the 5:20pm appt.? Do you think there is enough time to get back to MK for 8:20pm CRT?

I would head to the Poly bus stop about 4:00. You will likely be early to DS but plenty to wander around and look at if you are.
If you don't want to use the bus I'd call for Uber/Lyft about 4:30

I do think you can get done and back to MK fine. If it gets to 7:30 and you are still at DS I'd take Uber back, to Poly if you need to pop in your room or to GF if you don't, then get on the monorail to MK
If you are done by 6:30, 7:00 I'd bus, either to Poly or GF, depending on what you need to do before MK
