Thinking of taking dd4 but she has short hair. do the styles they offer accommadate that or would it be a waste of money? Also had any signed up for the "cool dude." Have twin ds7 and was thinking maybe for them. Thank so much for your thoughts!
My younger daughter (6 yrs old) has a graduated lip length bob. It is very short and sassy. She has done the BBB twice and it was a success with two different styles - forgot the names, but they weren't the "Princess" one (older DD got that one). The Fairy Godmothers add hair extension pieces after they pull the short hair back and rubberband it and pin it in sections and use lots of hairspray.
Both times we did BBB my girls slept on their backs, still as stone at night and their styles lasted about 3 to 4 days, LOL so much sticky stuff in them!
Have fun - BBB remains one of my girls favorite things at WDW - and we have had some amazing trips.
I emailed DisneyWorld.com on the same subject. My daughter just got a VERY short pixie style haircut and I have appts for her and her sister next month. They assured me that they would be able to get whatever hair style they wish, even the princess style. So i'm assuming lots of sticky stuff and hair extensions will be doing the trick!

Wow - DD will be too thrilled over this; her appointment is on a Friday, and she'll be pleased as punch if her new 'do is still intact for school on Monday.
The info I got off another post mentioned that boys can get the "cool dude" style at the BBB. They get their hair styled with colored gel and also get some kind of tatoo on the back of their neck i think i read. And it is only $10! I am calling tomorrow to make my appointments for sept trip. let you know if I get more or different info!
Is there an age requirement? My DD is 2 and would love this! Her auntie paints her nails and puts lipgloss on her, and she has so much fun having her hair fixed. But do you think she is too young?

Just be sure to make reservations! We went to Downtown Disney the day after my daughter's birthday hoping to get in! NO SUCH LUCK - they were not taking any additional walk-ins. DD was very disappointed. WE will make an appt. next time!
I just booked dd4 and twin ds7 for 9/8. they were completely open! she did tell me about the boys style and it is basically what i said except it's not a tatoo but a stencil on the back..not sure if that would be on the hair or neck but we'll find out i guess!
