Hi everyone!! So my daughter has an appointment at BBB in MK the third morning we're at Disney World, right before our breakfast reservation at CRT, and I've been wondering about the dress selection they have at BBB. Do they typically have ALL of the princess dresses at the boutique or just certain ones? Do they carry Anna's coronation dress and Elsa's dress there? And do they carry the dresses in a variety of sizes? Thanks in advance!! :)

Being honest- We will have our first experience with the BBB next week with our 4 year old(last time we went we only had boys). In getting ready and making reservations, I read everything I could find.

From my research, they have most of the princess dress and accessories BUT it is limited to what is on hand - like any other store. They might have the Anna and Elsa dresses in stock but then again they might not or they might only have larger or smaller sizes. :( Same goes with the rest of the princesses.

Everything I read and the advice I took was to buy whatever princess dress your daughter(s) want before you go, especially if there is ONLY one princess she wants to be and would be heartbroken not to get that dress.

I ended up ordering a costume from the Disney Store (from what I read it was the same ones being sold in the parks but I could be wrong). It was actually on sale so I saved some money but more importantly I know she will have the princess dress that she wanted that day.

Hope that helps!

I also bought my dd dress from the Disney Store for her first trip. Honestly, it was nicer than the ones they offered at BBB. Now, this was 4 years ago so the quality of either dress may have changed, but that was our experience.

I have a question. I booked my daughter a package there, but now I have found a better dress for much cheaper in a princess she really wants to be. Will I be able to change the package I have booked or am I stuck?

:worried: I would call but i am deployed and the phone lines suck.

I wonder if my daughter would like this
she will be 10 the week we go. she's not really 'princessey' though
she likes having nails done etc / make up / hair.

so I'd max out at the $97 one

are most of the girls there very little or do 10,11 and 12 years olds go? :rolleyes1

thanks

Mac

When we have take our DD, they always ask what package we would like when we check-in, so I don't think it's a problem at all.

I don't think you need to change the package ahead of time. I think it'll be ok if you change your mind when you check in but you could always try calling a day or two before to be on the safe side. When do you come back and when will you be leaving for Disney? Something exciting for you to look forward to I'm sure! :)

I think she would probably enjoy it because the girls get their hair, makeup and nails done but if she's not really into the princess stuff, you could always try the salon at the Grand Floridian. It's called the Ivy Trelis I believe. I think they have something called the flower girl package for $50 that includes hair and make up and you could add nails on as well. I've heard it's an awesome place!!

That helps a lot, thanks!! I feel the same way as you. I just don't want her to have her heart set on getting a certain dress and then find out that it's out of stock the morning we go. My daughter is really easy going and kind of just goes with the flow but I want to make sure she gets the dress that she wants since this is probably the only time we'll make it to Disney for the next few years!! :)

Thanks for the info thats great to hear. I found the most perfect Rupzunel dress for her. :) I get back from deployment the end of October and we are going to Disney for Thanksgiving so I still have one month in there, but there will be so much to do in that month I am trying to do as much as possible before then.
