I was planning for WDW not DL.Where is the official BBB thread for WDW? Thanx.
I'm pretty sure they have one on the WDW site. I was looking at something (graduation cap ears) over there yesterday and I know I saw one.
Do you tip at BBB like a regular salon?
We did.
I wish there was a Pirates themed makeover area at DLR, like there is at WDW. Something tells me my 3 and 4 year old nephews wouldn't appreciate the BBB.
They do have a boys makeover. At Studio 365 they also have pirate stuff for boys, or they did last May. They just do colored spikey hair, but it is cute. Check it out.
While not Pirates nor BBB, I took my kids to Studio 365 in Downtown Disney yesterday, and they LOVED it!! DS got his hair spiked up and color-gel, and we got more compliments on his hair than the two girls. I am just uploading pictures now, so will have a report soon!
Oh- and the boys style was $14.99, with a free set of the light-up drumsticks. So if you think of how much those should have cost, the hair-do was closer to $5.
The girls' styles were $29.99, and they got to keep their hairbrushes and make-up kits, which were priced at $14.99. And the stylists were AMAZING!
I want the drumsticks, LOL
Warning about Studio 365: they pull the hair back REALLY TIGHT!!!! even if you ask them to do it a little looser, because your child has been sick and this is her only day in the park after puking in the room for 2 days in the PPH. They would not listen to me at all. And the pulled back hair like that is NOT cute on a tiny skinny little girl. She looked very sick and I'm pretty sure we got special treatment at Surf's Up Mickey the next morning because they thought she was there with the Make a Wish group. No really! We did BBB this time around and it was a much nicer experience for us. We'll never do 364 again, not our thing, but we will do hair and makeup at BBB again. We loved it and the hair lasted MUCH longer, even though it wasn't pulled back as tight.
