Our family is taking a trip to Disney in April 2007! :yay: We have a 3-year old daughter who LOVES princesses. princess: We have already bought her a few dresses for character dining but wanted to do something more. My neighbor mentioned that they took their daughter (7) to the Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique to get her hair and nails done...it sounded like so much fun but I am concerned my daughter is too young. Have many people taken their daughters at this age (3) and did the girls enjoy it? Or should I wait till my daughter's older? Please share your experiences and pics!! :flower3:

Thanks to anyone who can help me!!! :wizard:

I think you should give it a try. In the Mall where I live there is a store that does the same thing, same concept except more diva looks. My daughter had her birthday there at 3 and loved it. She is now 7 and I took her to bibbiti bobbiti in june the whole process I think is about 30 min.. I would love to post pics but don't have enough post yet. I hope this helps. Have fun!

Hi there. We're going in December so I can't tell you how it is. We are bringing our own dress (I always buy the dresses at mydressuptrunk.com).

One of the other moms, (I think her screen name is Rebecca314) posted a movie with pictures of she and her daughter getting it done. I showed the movie to my daughter and she has talked about it non-stop and only wants to watch the princess hair movie. She is playing with her hair now, etc.

So, maybe will post her movie here for you to show your daughter and you can see if she's into it.

Looks like a lot of fun! Enjoy!

Hi
My DGD 3 1/2 loved this. We were there in August, and it was so much fun for her. She got her nails polished and hair done, and wore her Cinderella dress that we bought from home. Then we went to the 1900 Park Fare Cinderella dinner and she really got a lot of attention from all the characters. We're going back next year. The only thing that was annoying is that we had to wait an hour for our appointment. They said they were running late and that made us about 15 minutes late for our ADR. We took a taxi to the Grand Floridian. I think you DD would have a great time, especially if she loves all the princess stuff. Have fun! Also, I have pics that I can show you if I knew how to post them. Anyone who can explain to me how to do it would be great. Thanks!

Oh my goodness --- this will be perfect for DD and you! Take your own dress and shoes and get the mid-priced makeover for hairs, makeup and nails. Here's the video of our makeover we had done in August:

We had fun and so did all the tons of other people there! Popular activity, so get your reservation as soon as you are allowed. (Which, BTW, I have no idea how far in advance you can schedule. Does anyone know?)

My DD will turn 3 during our trip. Really debated long and hard on BBB and the Princess Tea.

My DD loves the Princesses and will be Cinderella for Halloween and is dressing like Belle for breakfast in Norway. But DH said , Would she rather be sipping tea and getting her hair done or riding Dumbo or swimming?

That was my answer. I'm skipping both this year. I think it all depends on the child.

Hmmmm, I'm considering the same with my 3 year old. I think pp makes a good point. What would you chlid rather do? I'm thinking I could fix my dd's hair myself, put some sparkly stuff on her face and she would be happy as a clam! Maybe I will wait until she is older. Plus, we just don't have time to be waiting for an hour!

What a doll! Thank you for sharing!! :smooth:

I think your daughter would love it, but I have a few suggestions.

We took my 4 year old daughter 2 weeks ago and it was busy! This was a down time everywhere else in the parks, but the BBB was booming! Allow yourself plenty of time if you have a reservation somewhere.

I agree with bringing your own dress. We did, but our friends let their daughters choose a dress there and it took over 1/2 an hour for them to decide, then they had to wait for a Fairy Godmother to have a free chair.

Skip the fake nails - every girl I saw pulled them off almost immediately!

My biggest suggestion - feed her first! Our appointment was for 3:15 and I guess my little girl was hungry. As soon as we left the BBBB, she had a 45 minute screaming fit over her lipstick! Once we gave her some chicken nuggets, she was once again a princess

We had the same stylist in the picture above!

My ten year old loved it. Here is a picture of her hair from the back

That was Marjorie in the 1st picture --- same lady as who did my hair! I didn't have any pictures of her for the video I posted above, so I was glad to see her again! :)

She was really good, and she is beautiful - she is pictured in the hand out brochure for BBB.
