Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique-Good idea for 3-year old? Please share PICS!!!

Here is an album of our DD5 at the boutique at the end of August. We went with the middle package and had her wear her dress for the appointment. I would say no matter what age it is definately worth it. We knew we were going to buy the photopass disc so we made sure to take her to get her "after" photos taken.

P.S. She would have worn princess shoes but somehow crocs felt so much more like Disney to us.

I have a question for those of you who have been there. I know that there are three hairstyles to choose from however will they work with the hairstyle of the princess that my daughters are dressed as?

My 3 year old is dressing as Snow White. She has the dark wavy hair and when I put the bow headband in, her hair looks like Snow Whites. Will the GodMothers just do this to her hair?

My older dd is going dressed as Princess Jasmine. I think she wants to get a braid, but I am sure she would be happy with most anything, but we did already purchase her crown at the Disney Store. Will they use that crown?

We are doing BBB, then 1900 Park Fare and finalyy MNSSHP that night.

Thanks for your help.

Pam

There are three hairstyles to chose from. The Fairy-tale Princess is a bun on top with crown barrette, Pop Princess is with different color hair extensions and all teased, Disney Diva is hair extension with colored strings and mickey heads on it (that is what our DD chose). Click on the link in the first post to see the brochure.

Hi
The Godmothers will do whatever you want with your DD's hair. I'm sure it would be ok if she just wanted to wear the hairband. Then they'll spray her hair with glitter. Also, they will use the crown that you already have. They sell crowns in the store right outside of the boutique. If you don't want the one that they provide, they do sell larger and more expensive ones at the store.

Oh my gosh, your girls are so adorable! (Sigh)

I'm the mom of two adorable little boys, so I don't get to see much of this kind of stuff. :)

We did BBB today and it was so worth the money! My 5 year old got the Fairy Tale style and looked simply gorgous, and my 7 year old wanted the fairy tale style because of the tiara but has really short hair so she had to do the diva look which was fake curly long hair but they put the tiara in the front and she also looked beautiful. They both loved every bit of it and they had on their princess costumes all day today and got tons of compliments all day long.

Oh and my younger dd decided she wanted it out tonight and took a bath and we washed it and all the gel came out really really easy and her hair is all soft again, it was hard as a rock in the bun.

I have pics to share when we get home... we are at POFQ and moving to BWV tomorrow for 3 more days... will upload when I can.

I was wondering about three-year-olds, too. We can't work it in this year, but maybe next year. I'll try to work an extra day into the trip for the tea and BBB!

My DD had just turned 3 last year when we brought her to that same store in the mall and she LOVED it, you should have seen us trying to take her hair down, she did not want to!!!!!!! For months after that she kept telling me she wanted to go back to Libby Lu, go for it. You won't regret it!! I would by all means recommend bringing your own dress if you have one.

Where is the boutique located? How does one make a reservation? How much does this cost? It looks like it could be quite pricey. We are going to WDW in December. My 6 year old daughter would love this.

Thanks!!

A few posts up I posted a link to another thread about BBB. In the first post on that thread there is a link to the scanned brochure. It is located in DTD at World of Disney. There is 3 different packages ranging from $35-$175. You can call them directly to make a reservation, which I would recommend at 407-939-7895. Hope this helps, it was so worth it to see the look on our DD's face. We surprised her with the appointment although she knew about the boutique and really wanted to go.

We came back last thursday and I can say that BBB was the favorite thing in the whole trip for my dd who turned 4 on the trip, and we did a Disney Cruise, all the parks, mini golf round and many awesome things, and this topped them all off.

So will they allow a 2.5 year old to do it? My 5yr old would love it and the 2.5 would too as long as her sister is doing it. I decided not to because I didn't think the younger one wouldn't be allowed and I didn't want to make her sit there while her sister had all the fun.

My dd just watched the video of BBB from Rebecca and wanted to watch it over and over. Was that video done at home or will they do a video for you? It was so fun to watch. I think my dd would like this but she also will only be 2.5.

oh i LOVE rebeccas video, i`ve showed it to my daughter, my neice, my sister....etc, everyone thinks its great, and Muriel is such a cute name, i love it!, my little girl is going to BBB this very day next month and believe me, i will be taking mamoth ammounts of photos in fact you will probably be able to flick through my photos fast and watch it like a flicker pad movie :lmao:

Thanks for the compliments on the video! We made that at home after our trip, using Windows MovieMaker. It's super-easy and lots of fun. (Then I post it on YouTube.com to share with the rest of the world, but I kinda crave attention, in case you couldn't tell!)

Sassymom,

What hairstyle is displayed in your photobucket pictures?

That was Disney Diva. She still wears the hair extension when she's playing at home. It was amazing how well it matched her actual hair color.

Rebecca,
Thanks for sharing that video. Even if it is easy to use the program, I think you did a great job picking the music and the whole setup. You may be able to make some money doing videos for others, if you had the time. Oh, and by the way, Muriel looked just like a little Cinderella. She's adorable.

Okay so I was just reading some threads about the BBB. And now I am not sure what to do.

We have booked my dd (4) for the castle package on the 10th before MNSSHP. However I read a thread that says the dresses are itchy, and that people were asked when they booked what princess dress they would want. Well when I booked they did not ask me, should I be concerned? Or do you think they have just changed things and don’t ask anymore? Also does anyone know the quality of the dress? My husband said the other day maybe we should buy a dress and bring it with us. However I convinced him that the dress would be a better quality if we got it at the BBB. Can anyone who has been and gotten a dress there tell me about the dresses? Will my daughter be comfortable wearing it all night at the MNSHHP?

Thanks in advance!

Rachel
