In December we will be making our annual pilgrimage, but with a twist - staying at WDW with DVC and splitting our time between Disney and Universal. Not sure yet about our full dining plans, but for those of you with a great knowledge of the roads in Orlando, what places are there to eat a good, sit down breakfast between the two places?

Also, how about on the way back to Disney from Universal for dinner? If we do the Deluxe Dining Plan at Disney we will just be going back, but I am manipulating all ideas and we may just eat somewhere in between - I'm looking for Outback, Carrabas or something along those lines - no Golden Corral or Sizzler or Ryans.

Thanks - Diane:santa::santa:

For the breakfast buffets, my parents/aunt seem to love Golden Corral, though I am not so much a fan. The one close to Universal apparently isn't as good as another location is. We tried Sweet Tomatoes on International Drive before, but they didn't really have a huge selection and their buffet is only Sunday.

There's a Carrabba's on Kirkman, really close to Universal. I'm sure you could google and find out where exactly. Outback is also on Kirkman, but it's a bit farther down. Both of these places are good, but a little pricey.

If you go to Mapquest they now show resturants, as you zoom in closer it shows more resturants. There is a Ihop on Hwy 535..

There are plenty of places right outside of the Universal property on Kirkman Road that serve all meals so you would be covered. Also...if you wanted something closer to Disney on the way back, you could stop at The Crossroads across from the LBV resort area. If you like seafood, you should try Joe's Crab Shack which is on ApopkaVineland Road not far from The Crossroads.

That is a good idea and I know exactly where that is - thanks!:thumbsup2
