Its so much fun to see all your pictures and everything I missed. I don't think I realized you all were down there for 6 nights!!! So infinitely jealous. Wish we could have spent some more time with you on our last night. With so many people I feel like we barely even saw each other. But hopefully our paths will cross again in August!!!

Hello Everyone!

I’m back home as of 11:30pm last night! I have to work today, ugh!! I wanted to quickly let you all know I had an awesome epic trip!! This was truly magical in so many ways.

I will write a summary of my trip and of course include some fun pictures.

I met so many wonderful people on this trip, it was amazing how we all became such fast friends. We all have such a love of Disney and this trip certainly made it easy to have fun with all my new friends!

I'm loving your recap of the EPIC trip, even though I was there for some of it! I am jealous of your pool time! I kept eyeing that pool at the WL and just didn't seem to have enough time to get it in

Hey Caroline, it was so great to finally meet you I wish we'd gotten a little more time to talk but it's so hard with such a large group; I'm sure our paths will cross again!

It is super weird rooming with "strangers" lol, and while I didn't have to do it this trip I've had to do it twice for work. Both times worked out great, one time better than the other as she lives within an hour from me and we're great friends much like all of us DIS ladies I'm glad it worked out for you and I agree, the trip was EPIC!

I agree, so nice to meet you and Steve! It was busy with such a large group to really have one on one time with everyone. I’m glad we had some time at F&G and the brunch to visit a little!
I remember reading your reports about meeting your roommates, so glad it worked out for all of us!! I would do this again in a heartbeat if it works for me, so fun!!

Yes we all started the Epicness on Wednesday, I think that was why I was dragging by Sunday night, haha!
I wish we could have spent more time visiting, so glad we had the F&G evening and the brunch was so fun!!

Happy Mother’s Day to all you awesome moms out there!!
Andi came home yesterday and totally surprised me! I had no idea she was coming! I was thinking I would be alone this weekend! My husband has his annual opening fishing trip with his buddies so I was planning to just relax by myself!! It was so wonderful to see Andi walk in the door yesterday!! We had a great lunch catching up and spent the evening watching movies and eating popcorn. I told her all about the Epic trip, she was a little jealous can you blame her! This was a wonderful Mother’s Day surprise for me!!

On with more Epic Highlights!

4. Doing a VIP tour with about 18 of my new friends! This was such a wonderful surprise. First we watched The Blue Angels fly over Spaceship Earth, oh my this was amazing!!

Our tour had 2 guides and they let us decide on the day, we had them for about 7 hours.
We spent time in Epcot first, we did TT, Soarin, and FEA. I never did get my TT picture, I did get one with Billie’s group in it. I did not take pictures during this tour at all, just so excited! DHS was next and we traveled via a van and entered the parks from the back of the stage areas. At DHS we did SDDx2, such a fun ride.

We headed to AK next, FoP was our first ride, I rode next to Jenny and it was her first time on FoP, she loved it even though she was scared out of her mind we then had lunch at Satuli yum!! We then did the Safari. I could have fell asleep on the Safari The last park was MK, the group that went there rode 7DMT before the tour ended! I interacted the most with Jon out of the 2 tour guides and he was so amazing. He was full of interesting Disney facts and has worked on some really cool projects at Disney! We all got snacks, water, rain ponchos, and a VIP pin.
This was truly a once in a lifetime tour for me and I was so glad to be a part of this!
Kelly, Liesa, Karamie, and myself are all RN’s, we had to get a picture!


5. The Stars Wars Dessert Party! This was so fun! Lesley and I met up with Jackie and Arianna for this! I really enjoyed the savory options of hummus, pita, prosciutto, salads, and cheeses. This was my dinner, yum! The dessert choices were also very good. I tried the watermelon vodka drink and really enjoyed this. We had a wonderful time visiting before the show. We each got a Darth Vader souvenir cup.


The area for watching the show was perfect, we were front and center and everyone actually sat down, yay! The new Wonderful World of Animation before the SW fireworks was awesome! It covered every Disney movie with projections on the Chinese Theatre! I loved this party and would do again! I agree with Arianna that this is better than the HEA dessert party!

Ariane, it was just what this mom needed, it was wonderful to spend time with her!! She has a pretty good job in Eau Claire so she won’t be home this summer Our trip in August will be extra special this year!

Ahh I wish you would have been at the VIP tour it was great! I didn’t say a whole bunch about it since I know others will go into more detail. I didn’t take any notes this trip and very few pictures, so the highlight route works for this thread
