Hi there! We were able to book our activities this morning for the 5 night Disney Dream cruise out of Fort Lauderdale for Spring Break.

In regards to the beverage tastings, we have one booked at 9:30 p.m. We have first dinner, and then will want to do the stage show (it's night 5, which is usually "Believe"?) Are we going to have time to go to the show at 8:30 p.m., watch it, get our kids checked into the kids club right after, and then make the beverage tasting at 9:30 p.m.? I'm concerned about the bottleneck in getting out of the theatre. We can and will use stairs, not sure if that will help. And I'm not opposed to leaving the show a little early, but want to be respectful of other audience members (we would get there early and sit on the side by the aisle).

If we show up late to the beverage tasting, is it a big deal?

To me , yes it would be a big deal. They set up all the drinks and know how many people should be there. If you are late they may or may not wait, it depends on the bar tender / host and if they are on a tight schedule.

You want to be respectful for the theatre people, but you are disrespecting the bar tender / host and all the other people who were on time for the tasting.

Okay, good to know. This is the first cruise we've done as a family, my first Disney cruise, so I'm genuinely coming from a place of not knowing. It looks like they offer the same tasting on a different day and it's already booked, I'll keep stalking the website to book that one instead or inquire about adding it when we get on the ship.

Thanks so much for the feedback, I appreciate it.

I would just sit in the back corner on an aisle and sneak out with 5 minutes to go. I think you can still watch the shows in your stateroom on demand so you may be able to watch the end of it that way too.

Believe is my least favorite DCL show, and I’ve seen all or almost all of them.

I would sit in back of theatre and you can usually get out before the crowd. I've done tastings after dinner and we had late people, you may miss a bit, but usually not much. Never been a issue
