Better than Visa Magic Code?

Hmmm .... not sure. Just off the top of my head it could be the size of you rental or the dates. It worked for me for a minivan and for stepdisney for a mid-size. My dates are 7/10-7/26 - perhaps the coupon expires 7/31??? These are just guesses on my part. Sorry.

That was it. I just tried it for a mini van for my dates and it gave me the full coupon. We don't need anything larger than a full size (only 3 of us) so I didn't try that.

Oh well, the rate with the *67 code is still pretty good, so I guess I'll just stick with that for now.

Thanks

As far as the coupon goes, it lists on my reservation as a blog coupon which I assume is the same as an e-coupon.

I have that estimate conversion as well, but right above that it says country of residence: US so I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks mike. I found the "country of origin" on my receipt. I think it will work out just fine in the end. :thumbsup2

Got a AAA magazine which has a pretty good code for Hertz. Just reserved a weekly rental at FLL for $193 (includes child seat)

CDP code 000097
PC# 116082

Good luck.

Hello All...........:woohoo: I am writing to you form good old Disney World...Just wanted everyone to know that I used the "57" today and got myself a beautiful Metallic Red 2008 Grand Caravan with powered dual sliders, DVD player and only 2000 miles on it, all this for just :teacher: $263.00 plus change for 10 days. Who could ask for more. Gotta love that code. :lovestruc I love this car the windows in the dual sliders go down can you imagine.... Six windows in that mini van all open. Well just though I would let you know that there was no problem using the "57" code for me. Good luck to the rest who use it...... Happy money saving.

If you join the Emerald Aisle, there is a link on this thread with which you can upgrade to Executive at no charge. Then select the full-size vehicle and you will get it for the mid-size price which accepts the $30 coupon. I got a full size vehicle for a week at the end of this month for $90 by using the #57 code, nf1982jdd coupon and Executive upgrade.

A bit lost reading 24 pages on these codes.

I am trying to make a reservation for May 13-20, 2008
I need a Mini Van

Are my best options
ND2119071Q - Coupon for $35 off
8572967 - Complimentary Code with All the Insurances and taxes included

People have not been asked for an Specific IDs? I would hate for him to get up to the counter and be rejected.

This is for my brother and he's never rented from National. Does he just go up to the counter @ MCO and do the paperwork?

Any other suggestions?

That is exactly what I did for my July reservation. The only thing that I would add is to use the link on mousesavers.com to join the Emerald Club for free. Then your brother will not have to go to the counter. He will just go directly to the garage and select his minivan.

Yes, I hope mine works out exactly the same!!:thumbsup2

Have a wonderful time!!:dance3:

What if you are already a member, can you upgrade for free or is this a one time deal for new members? I didn't see this free upgrade link. Thanks. I have saved soooo much on our car rental so far from this site. :thumbsup2

Unfortunately, we arent going until August, so the $30 coupon will expire before that, but the $35 coupon won't. I did do the Executive upgrade, selected the full size, got the mid size rate, but it just wont apply the actual $35 off from the coupon. It shows the coupon as a discount, then adds it back in.

Guess I'll just have to keep checking. Maybe it will change as we get closer (although it feels like it will never get here...)

Are you renting for a week? I also ran into some issues with the coupon being added back until I fiddled with my pick up and drop off times. My one week vacation looked like 6 days of car rental since I was using the default of noon on both the Tuesday pick up and Monday drop off. By changing it to actual times, the rental period exceeded the six 24-hour periods (by an hour) and then the coupon worked.

Current Emerald Aisle members can upgrade via the Executive link. The link is in this thread somewhere, sorry I do not have it anymore. I believe it was from flyertalk.com.

We are actually going for 11 days. I tried your suggestion though and played around with the dates/times. It looks like for anything over 8 days (24 hour periods), it adds the coupon amount back in.

Does anyone know if there is a min/max rental length on this coupon? Or does anyone have a link to the original e-coupon?

My rental is for 16 days and the coupon worked for me :confused3

We're going in August also and we used coupon ND2119071Q along with 67 code and it took $35 off. Try this one for the end of August. Go to the end, it may show the discount at the end.

This just gets weirder and weirder. If I try the reservation for 13 or 14 days it works, at 12, it doesn't.

Maybe I'll call National and ask why... Or should I not draw attention to this. Undecided...

How long are you going for? I tried confirming the reservation and checking the confirmation email. No discount.

We're going for 10 days but returning the car after 7 days to the Swan & Dolphin and taking Magic express back to the airport. We're just renting because for the first part of our vacation, we are staying at a Universal Studios Resort (no Magic Express) and then we need transportation to Disney for the second half. I was actually going to rent for a shorter period of time but it was more cost efficient for us to rent it for the entire week!!!! We are the type that once we are on Disney property, we don't want to have to drive anywhere. We'll do any water pick-ups or shopping off site before we start the Disney leg of the trip and just keep the car until our 7 days are up. :thumbsup2 Is there a leg of your trip that you'd be willing to do without the car or do you need it the entire time? You might want to crunch the numbers and see what adding a few days, and returning it early, using the coupon, or subtracting a few days and using another form of transportation will do for your total.
