Well, I woke up early this morning, so I decided to get the walk out of the way. I knew I wouldn't fall back to sleep. I did 3 miles at 430 this morning. I am also on my 3rd cup of green tea.:lmao: This won't be a habit, but puppy was happy.

Obviously, work is slow this morning. We pick up this afternoon. Thank God.
Kate has dance tonight. I will do the homework/dinner/bed routine. Then I need to fold 5 loads of laundry. Have I mentioned I hate laundry?

It is weird, or maybe I am weird?;) I feel much better after Jon and I talked about him not staying. I feel like I have done my part, and when he leaves, I will be ok. I feel like it is my decision for him to leave. I have addressed my needs, and he can't meet them. I am much more at peace with him leaving now.

Well, our first patient just showed. I'm off.

I'm proud of you for being so strong...making great choices...and being a super mom! :hug: You deserve to be at peace....you deserve to feel good about how you handled that. The situation still sucks...but YOU made the choice, finally you were given the control in the situation and you handled beautifully.

I third what Amy and Stacie say!:hug: You have taken control of your life Beth, it still doesn't make the situation ideal or easy, but you have your peace. Sometimes that is the winning outcome. I find myself almost feeling sorry for Jon but then again, I think he is just having to lie in the miserable bed he made for himself. You are going to be fine Beth, unfortunately, he won't. Not your problem. Just know that you have done an amazing job through all of this.

I hate laundry too. I have never had a desire to have someone clean my house, but if I could hire someone to do my laundry, that would be swell!

Great job making those healthy meals, making a plan and doing that walk at the crack of dawn! I'd say your week is off to a very good start.

Today has been crazy busy, but it is over. I did manage to get to the gym for 35 minutes on the elliptical. I missed lunch related to our overbooked schedule. When I finally got in, I definately overate. :confused3 Oh well, I'll pack some cheese sticks for tomorrow. I'm off to shower and then bed.

After a busy day you still managed to work out, that is great! I bet you didn't overeat as much as you think you did. Either way, tomorrow is a new day and some days the hectic lives we lead just make it tough to eat properly. I hope tomorrow is a bit quieter for you!
 
Hi everyone,

Well, I didn't make it to every journal. I will try to catch up with everyone else tomorrow,

Today was not bad. I could have used a Starbucks run, but oh well. Work was steady, but the doc is on a rampage at the moment. He took a bath in the stock market, so he is taking it out on us. It will blow over, and I have Friday off. I'll just keep my head down tomorrow.

I went to Pilates today. I did what I could. I don't know, if I was fatigued today, or dehydrated, or just an off day, but my hamstrings were cramping a bit. It was very frustrating. I still had a good workout, but I have done the same class without problems.:confused3

Tomorrow is work, take Kate to dance, dinner/homework/tuck kate into bed, clean up a bit, do my pilates tape, and then bed.

Okay, I am off to bed.

Beth, too bad the doctor thinks its okay to take his frustrations out on his employees! Like he's the only person taking a hit with his investments right now. Poor him. You hung in there and did pilates so good for you. I don't know why sometimes its so much harder than others to do a workout! You are so busy, I hope you get some time for yourself in the next few days. One good thing, a busy week makes for a fast week!
 
Beth, :huh: sorry the doc is on a rampage. Very unfair..but you seem to have the right attitude. Just wait out the storm. Sending some PD that it blows over soon.

As for hamstrings cramping....was it during shoulder bridge and stomach lying exercises? That happens to me a LOT...or at least it used to. It could definitely be a matter of lacking water or possibly low potassium. Try eating a banana if you can just before class and make sure you're getting all your water in. That's my biggest problem...I'm so bad with water. But it does make a difference.

Hi all,

Well, Thursday is over, and I have a 3 day weekend!:cool1:

I caught Kate's cold, but I am fine other than a bit of congestion and a sore throat. Kate is off of school, again. We went to Lifetime this AM. I tried something new. A latin fusion class. It was a lot of fun. 2 of my girlfriends went with me. We had a blast, laughed at how uncoordinated we were, and got a great workout. I really worked up a sweat. I will definately take the class again when I have Friday off. I also did about 25 minutes of core work. After kate and I went grocery hopping, we came home for lunch and made yarn dolls. I've cleaned a couple of bathrooms, and gathered up laundry to do tomorrow. I am dropping Kate off at dance, Jon will pick her up. I am going out to dinner tonight with friends. I've kept the points low today, so I can indulge tonight. We are going to J Alexanders. Yummo!

Tomorrow, I will go to WW, then the gym. I have cleaning to do, and I want to start making some meals for the week ahead. It worked out really well this week.

I will try to get to journals tonight.

Beth, that is great you had fun at your new class! I really admire how you mix things up with your workouts. We used to have J. Alexander's here, but its gone. I really miss that place, have a great dinner for me! I am glad you are getting a night out with some girlfriends, you totally deserve it! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

P.S. Make sure Kate gives the cold to Jon too!;)
