Well, I am bck.
I am not sure why I thought my life would be back to normal after the party. It is still crazy busy. Hey wait, that is normal for me.
The party was a complete success. The cake turned out ok. It wasn't as polished as I would have liked. Katie loved it, and I got a few compliments on it. It was frosted with yellow frosting with pink detailing. Katie's favorite colors. The rain held off for the party, but it was cold. The kids had a blast. As the kids arrived, they decorated crowns. Then we went on a quest. The kids ran through cones(Maze) up and over a mountain (slide), under a table(deep dark cave),jump on the mini trampoline to reach the magic potion (soccer baall) to kill the dragon (soccer goal), jump on lilypads over the moat to the castle(moonwalk). The kids did great. It was bedlam, but so much fun. The girls made neclaces while the boys decoratd their swords and shields. The sandbox was open for sand castles and I had a bubble table. Instead of pin the tail on the donkey, we played plant the kiss on the frog prince. Cake, ice cream, presents, and more moonwalk. The pary was supposed to be 2.5 hours. No one left before 530.I found out that Hannah had a party on Saturday (Her mom was the one who blew up at me over scheduling a party on her daughter's bday) Katie wasn't invited, which is fine. I had 2 moms amd 4 kids saay that Katie's party was more fun. It is petty of me to admit that I was pleased. Next BIG party is at 10. Between and ten she can have a couple a friends over for activities.
I am so far off program that it is in another time zone. Katie gets to have whatever she wants for dinner on her bday tomorrow, so it is pizza. It is my final sendoff before restarting induction. I have gained major weight, but know that I will get it off again. I am finally starting to feel better, and the doc cleared me to work out.
Plan for the day....
Dance class.
Lunch at Olive Garden with Katie.
Drive 1.5 hours to get Pez the Puppy.
Drive back home.
Play with Pez the Puppy.
Make 2 dozen dairy free, soy free, chocolate free, peanut free cupckes for Katie's preschool class Wednesday.
Take a walk.
Watch AI. (Katie is still devastated that Anthony was voted off.)
Ok, I am off to bed.
Take care,
Beth
