We're heading to Orlando from June 14-24 (sadly, can't go before school is out) and we're staying at the Horizons Marriott for most of the trip, and at another hotel the 21st-23rd (at my parents' place the final night).
We're planning on doing half days at UO, IOA and Seaworld, since we'll have passes that give us access for multiple days.
Any recs on days of the week in June to completely avoid any of these parks, which days might be best, and whether morning or afternoon is better? We figure on rotating first thing in the morning vs. after lunch, depending on what we did the night before and how hot it is. since Horizons has a killer pool and fun kids' activities, we'll be spending a lot of time there too, and one night we're planning to do the Medieval Dinner Theater. Plus the character breakfast one day at IOA (found out about that in this forum, sounds way cool).
I'm currently thinking:
Mon., all day at Epcot
Tues., p.m. at Seaworld
Wed., a.m. at IOA
Thurs, a.m. at UO
Fri., a.m. at Seaworld, p.m. at IOA
Sat., switching hotels...ideas of what to do?
Sun., Kennedy Space Center?
We're thinking in general we should avoid IOA and UO on weekends. I hear Seaworld and Epcot are actually pretty good for weekends (we're planning to make Epcot an all-day thing; only doing one day of Disney).
Thoughts from the experts? We are planning to get to the parks first thing so we can avoid lines and not have to buy the express pass.
btw, there are five of us...two adults and three crazy boys (12, 11 and 7).
Thanks!!
