The website says that it is right across the street... but then later down the amenities page it says shuttle service available.

How long of a walk is it? We're looking at it on last minute travel so of course it's unnamed, but we learned on most of the hotels if you try to save the photos it has the name of the hotel in the picture name.

The shuttle can take you there too. It may even do pick up/ drop off near the shopping area thats close. Some people don't want to walk.. even if it is right accross the street. Especially at the end of the day when your tired.

Have you tried the search feature? I just typed in Stovall and got these results **~** you could read through them and see what people have to say about it :)

ETA ~ ugh my results have brought up every thing with and 's in it!!! And all I did was search Stovall not Stovall's! You could also try TripAdvisor ~ I love TA - **~** *the most recent review there states "close walking distance to Disneyland"

Hi there! We stayed at BW Stovall's Inn this past April & we really liked it. It IS right across the street but it is not across the street from any of the entrances. We walked down West St/Disneyland Drive, cut through the Grand Californian into Downtown Disney & to the main gates from there. The walk took us approx 12 min.....sometimes closer to 15 if our feet were sore at the end of the day. It was a beautiful walk though! There wasn't much traffic (foot or vehicle) on West St & they greenery is gorgeous! Plus walking through the GC was wonderful as well.

ETA: If you google "Disneyland hotel map" a few will come up, some are better than others but you can locate Stovall's Inn on there & get an idea of what the walk looks like! :)

For the average adult it's about 15 minutes.

It's a pleasant walk down a nicely landscaped street, through the Grand Californian to Downtown Disney right near the security check.

I stayed there last year and recommend it. The rooms are recently refurbished, the bed was comfy. There was a frig and microwave in the room.

I think the shuttle service is ART, it is not a dedicated shuttle for Stovall's.

I have stayed at BW Stovalls and it is quite a bit of a walk from the hotel to the park entrance. I believe it is a 12-15 minute walk from Stovalls to the park entrance that includes cutting through the GCH.

Also the BW Stovalls does not have a shuttle service not like some other hotels which have there own. The only pickup is the ART system which you have to pay in order to use the bus. Waiting for the shuttle at the hotel or the DL bus stop area can take awhile since each route for each bus only uses one bus per route mostly (some use two buses for the route).

Maybe I can help....

I've stayed at Stovall's many, many times (in fact, my sig. has a picture of what it used to look like when I'd stay there with my family as a kid ).

Technically, it IS right across the street from DLR. HOWEVER...unless you take the shortcut, it's a very, very long walk. Taking the shortcut, it's a 10-12 minute walk. To take the shortcut, walk across the street and down Disneyland Drive, towards the Grand Californian Hotel. There's a shaded, not-directly-next-to-traffic walkway all the way to the hotel. When you get to the GC, follow the overhead signs through the lobby and exit into DTD. From there, it's self explanatory...it's a pleasant walk, unless it's during a heatwave .

Also...the ART bus picks up/drops off right in front of Stovall's. There's no proper bus stop there, though, so if you want to wait in the shade & perhaps wit down on a bench, you can walk across the street to the bus stop in front of Tiffy's. Either way, the bus ride will be about 10 minutes, and drops off right in front of the Esplanade. It's totally worth the price of the pass ($10 for a 3 day pass, as of last December), especially if the weather is either hot or rainy.

You may also want to try booking the hotel through this link: http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/priceAvail.do?propertyCode=05185 . There are often really good rates if you book a couple of months ahead of time :)

anyone stay there recently?

The only negatives I have heard is something about the heating airconditioning being old, noisy and dusty. The person said it set off the smoke alarm in their room! Now that MUST be dusty!! On one Trip Advisor review the hotel management said they were cleaning it. I was curious because I have allergies and that would be an issue for me.
