I need a room for one night in December before checking into ASMu ... anyone have any experience with these hotels. I know there may be less expensive hotels out there, but I really think I want to be near Downtown Disney for this first night.
Thanks

Your other choice........... Not so good.......... :confused3 :confused3 :confused3
Check the board's and trip advisor........

the Best Western is a nice hotel, and you can snag good rates from Hotwire.

I can't comment on the Best Western but I just cancelled a reservation at the Grosvenor because of all the negative reviews I have read on these boards and elsewhere.

Thanks for the input, I just reserved with Best Western. I didn't like the Hotwire site, because I was not able to book the exact hotel ... I've used Priceline before, but that was in Boston and I was pretty sure of the hotel I would be given. If you go to Best Western and click on Promotional Rates, they let you use a FL res. discount rate, regardless of whether you live in FL - they call it "everyone's a FL resident" or something like that: 89.00 a night.
