Best Western Movieland

We need a basic(ish) cheap(ish) hotel for 4/5 nights in October. This hotel is coming up at $42 plus tax per night and states that it is 1 mile to US with a free shuttle bus (important as no car). Has anyone any info on this hotel and also how is the shuttle/general location? We don't need to go to WDW from here as we'll be booking an on-site WDW hotel for the rest of our 14 night stay, but we do need easy access to International Drive for restaurants etc.

It looks like it fits basic and cheap accomodations, and it's a 3 star rated hotel so I think it would be fine for what you're needing it for. We've stayed at quite a few of the smaller hotels in the area, and while they may not be Hiltons they are fine and clean hotels. I think that hotel will serve you fine.....I hope you come back with good reviews It says they have free shuttle to Black Angus, although I know the one over on the main drag closed last year so that may be outdated information unless they are talking about the other one. Also says it's with in walking distance to other places to eat.....so I'm sure you'd be fine without a car.

Hello! I just stayed there on my last visit. They do have clean rooms, free shuttles to Universal ONLY (Disney's extra), and an attached Black Angus Steakhouse restaurant. The hotel is right across from Wet n' Wild. It's only about 15 minutes away from Disney and less than 5 minutes away from Universal. They have a good supply of free cable channels, even though all I watched was Disney info.
