I did a search and I was wondering if anyone has stayed there recently? Tripadvisor reviews are pretty good but I always like to check with our Disers. Please give it to me all; the good, bad, and the unimportant...lol. Thanks! Oh, My mom is coming with us so we booked two rooms for $58 a night each including tax and resort fee. We are staying 6 nights princess: .

Last October. My friend stayed there this past January and she is staying there over Christmas this year. I was going to stay there as well but got the 40% off room rate for Disney. I am having reservations about not staying at Best Western Lakeside. I liked it that much.

I very much recommend this place. The three pools are clean and heated . . Housekeeping is good. Breakfast is alright. Kids eat free program is a bonus. Free high speed interent, fridge, coffeepot and condiments are bonuses. The onsite food establishments are awesome. There is a pizza hut onsite, general store and arcade. There is free minigolf. Walgreens is in the parking lot for snack, souveniors. There is a shortcut to Disney and it is only about a 10 minute drive! There is good shuttle services and staff all very friendly. Landscaping is beautiful.

There are many eating establishments within walking distance. Wendy's, Burger King, Denny's, Golden Correl, Red Loster, Taco Bell, Golden China, Ponderosa, and a whole lot more!

I recommend this place!

My girlfriends and I stayed here in March during my "Bachelorette weekend" to WDW. It was a simple room. Not overly big, not overly small, but more than adequate. I didn't get to use any of the pools personally, but from what I understand from our friends staying there also, the pools were great and the bars were nearby and awesome as well.

The drive to Disney is very quick, which was cool. We were lucky enough that I'm an AP holder and didn't have to pay parking, which I think is up to about $11 a day at the parks these days. Rather crazy in my opinion, but that's the way they get you to stay on property!

They also have a restaurant on site that we went to for breakfast which was a standard buffet, but not your small continental breakfast. It does cost, but the selection is also much bigger.

But in all, the hotel was more than fine. Enjoy your time at Disney! :)

Try usairwaysvacations.com and funjet.com Both websites have great deals on this property (choose hotel / land-only). Funjet includes the resort fee, US Airways does not. Also, Funjet includes Gatorland admission for your entire party.

We have stayed here 4 times now, great budget hotel, a lot better value than Disney's value hotel IMHO.
I am adding a link for a site here in UK, I am not sure if you can book thru them but they are the cheapest I know for BW lakeside, incl tax and resort fee from £21.60(approx $45)per night. It does not incl breakfast.
I cant decide on going back here for our 24 nights next August or hold out for a better rate at Courtyard by Marriott LBV, Prefer LBV area but the BW rate is very tempting.
