Greetings,

It's bee almost 10 years since we've been to WDW. It is so hard to coordinate our adult children to all be available at the same time, plus I waited to too late to make reservations for this February, and all that was left was a cabin in the wilderness resort, for more $$$ than we wanted to pay. We've decided to all go in November of this year. In years past I'd call Walt Disney travel Company, and was always happy with the cast members that help make the booking. I am presently on hold (for over 20 minutes) trying to perhaps make changes, but I think I'm just going to cancel.

I realized that the reason everything was full, maybe due to the Star Wars attraction opens this month.

Anyway, I'm open to recommendations.

Thanks for all replies,

Phil

Why not use a travel agent? They can help you with your needs, it doesn't cost you anything extra and you don't have to sit on hold for over 20 minutes.

The phone lines and website were quite jammed today as a new summer discount was just released this morning. Personally, I like to price shop on the WDW website. I can plug in my dates, see what offers are available and also see all resort availability. I also have control over which options I add and am able to price them all out there. Once the reservation is made, I also get a confirmation number and page to print out for my records. I just feel like I have more control over the website, can see everything and see all of the pricing. You might also want to consider using a travel agent for your trip. I would recommend looking for an "Earmarked" agency that specializes in Disney travel. Dreams Unlimited is the sponsor of these boards, are Earmarked and I'm sure one of their TA's could help you navigate booking your trip and help get you the best deal.

The Star Wars rides are now open in WDW. You may be confusing it with the opening of Rise of the Resistance which opens in Disneyland this month.
