Best way to go from Doubletree to BC?

We're thinking of renting a car from Budget to get from Port Canaveral to the Doubletree in DD area, what's the best way to get from the Doubletree to the Beach Club? We're going in August (very hot) so I wasn't sure if it's a long walk from Doubletree to DD to catch a bus?

It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the DD bus stops. If you have a car, why not just drive down to the BC? It is a only a 5 minute drive, and you'll spend a lot more time waiting for the bus and then getting to BC. BC offers self parking, and its a lot shorter walk to the resort door than you'll have walking to DD.

I guess I should have said in my post that Budget has a rental counter in the Doubletree, so we just need the car to get from the port to WDW, then we want to turn it in and start our vacation at the Beach Club.

If that's the case, I would probably catch a cab since you'll have luggage.

Call Traci at budget before your trip at 407 827-6089 and let her know that you'd like a ride to BC when you drop off your car. As long as she knows before hand, she can have someone available.
