Hello,
I'm hoping to get some great tips from you experts out there... :)

I'm planning a trip to San Fransisco area to see my college buddies and am hoping to hop over to DL to see my disney buddies... hehe...
unfortunately the cheapest flight tix I can find is $200 rt (I only need one way tho but buying one way is more expensive than rt... imagine that...).

Does anyone know a cheaper better way to go?
Train maybe?

I'm not a big fan of driving 4-5hrs by myself... :(

Thanks so much.

unless your friends are exactly in san francisco, use OAK airport. Anywhere else in the bay area, use Oakland. Next there is always a train service called aamtrack. oh and the drive to LA from SF is more like 7-8 hours.

yeah I was going to say...I know we all love the magic of Disney but 4-5 hour drive from SF is uh something disney cant even do unless of course you're doing 95 all the way and in that case good luck with the Highway Patrol :lmao:

Try Southwest.com. They have $59 one way fares. There are some restrictions- like 21 day advance purchase ( you dont mention when you are planning to travel), and they don't fly out of SFO for those rates- you would have to go to San Jose or Oakland or Sacramento. You could fly into LAX, Ontario or Burbank.

Try Jet Blue to Long Beach. I can usually get a round trip from Oakland for $105.

Amtrak from San Francisco to Santa Ana is $54 one way and it takes more than 10 hours. www.amtrak.com
If you're not up for the drive than definitely try southwest or jet blue into Long Beach or Orange County. You might be able to get a cheap fare from SFO to Burbank and then rent a car and drive an hour or so to disneyland.

hell even southwest oakland into lax is less than $100 easily

Thanks everyone... I will check those options out... :)
I knew I could count on you guys.
