Best way to get from Pop to AKL

We have ADRs for Boma one night for 6:00. We most likely will have come back to the room at Pop to rest and freshen up so we will be going to AKL from there. Our Laughing Place says the best way is to take the bus to BB then a bus to AKL. Well, will there even be a bus to BB at 5:00 at night? If not, would be be better off to take the bus to AK then a bus to AKL? I am figuring that late in the evening there won't be many buses going to AK. What other park would it be best to go to and then transfer to AKL?

Take a taxi. I don't think it would be any more than $20 with tips.

We're doing the same thing on our next trip. I plan to either go to AKL straight from AK (this is the probable scenario), or if we go back to Pop I'll bop over to MGM (I think it's the closest park) and bus it from there.

You can get to AKL via any park or DTD. You can hop the first theme park bus and then take a bus from that theme park (or DTD) to the AKL. General rule of thumb is 20 minutes between buses so allow plenty of time. If you happen to be early for your ADR the AKL is a wonderful place to spend some extra time.

However I agree with the PP who suggested a taxi. We always budget for a few taxi rides especially when traveling from resort to resort or even the occasional park closing treat.

Take the bus to AK. You will be leaving early enough that the park will still be open, or at least the buses will still be running. The earliest it closes is 5, your ADR is at 6 and you will be leaving early anyway to ride the bus. If you get to AKL early, use the time to go look at the savannas. Allow at least 45 minutes for this trip since you will be transferring from bus to bus somewhere.

The AK bus will stop at Blizzard Beach, so don't get out there. Once you get to AK, switch buses there. The AK/AKL bus route is the shortest on property.
