Staying at Coronado, having dinner and carriage ride at POR. What is the best way to get there, and how long roughly would it take?

BEST way would be a taxi.

FREE way would be a bus to DTD and then the boat or bus to POR. I would give yourself at least an hour. It might not take that long, but we've always had horrible ride time to DTD no matter where we started.

You can also try Coronado > DHS > POR. Coronado is close to DHS and buses run to POR quite regularly from DHS.

A taxi is definitely the fastest way to go there. Using Disney transport, I'd agree that a bus to DHS then a bus to POR would be the fastest choice. Going to DTD to make a transfer is Always our last possible choice due to the time involved. However, if you had lots of time, it might be fun to take the DTD bus and then take the boat to POR. But that would take well over an hour.

Go to EPCOT. Then to riverside. By the way the carriage ride is nice but dinner at boatwright not so good. Love the resort stayed many times and have done the carriage ride a few time. Another option but a longer one is DTD to riverside by boat. You may want to go home that way as the boat ride is vey nice to DTD.

Well the carriage ride is the thing I want. Anywhere near there good for dinner?

Maybe do the carriage then a nice boat ride to DTD and have dinner there. Not sure your times for this bug that could push your dinner back some time. Just thinking if your doing the carriage and then the boat it's kind of nice and can be romantic so dinner at boatwrights just does not fit in there. Not that I know anything of being romantic

My family and I have never had a bad meal at Boatwright's. Check out the menu and see if it appeals to you and your family. I've had the Prime Rib and the Jambalaya and I thought they were delicious. The big fluffy cornbread is amazing, too. My husband gets the Voodoo Chicken every time and he enjoys it. I also really really REALLLLLLY love their pecan pie. And we've always had really good service, too.

I would not go to DTD to get the boat from there to POR. Depending on the time of day, the line can get pretty long going to the resorts. But after dinner, I would definitely recommend taking the boat back to DTD. It's a lovely trip!

Before heading back to your resort, I also suggest checking out Yehaa Bob (if you're up for a rowdy fun time!) We make it a point every trip to see his show at least once.

Um, I've never had a bad meal at Boatwrights. In fact I always say it's a nice overlooked restaurant. I think you should stick to your original plan and make that opinion yourself..
