Hi everyone
These are the 3 parks we will be visiting, we plan to do mornings and nights, should we take a bus or car, we have AAA diamond parking, should we use this and at what parks?

Also we have 8;10 am ADR at Crystal Palace, drive? bus? staying at Coronado what time should we leave?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we are at Disney, we never use a car. It is part of being on vacation and just being able to relax. The buses to the parks have almost always been easy to use and have gotten us where we wanted in plenty of time. If you take the bus to the early breakfast, I would give myself about an hour.

From Coronado Springs, driving to Epcot and the Studios will be convenient, and will save you time waiting for buses. I don't recall if AAA Diamond parking helps much at Epcot, but it will often get you a little better spot at the Studios.

(How soon are you going, and do you have young kids with you? Depending on when you're going, taking a car might make your walk a bit farther, which younger kids might enjoy less.)

But *definitely* take the bus to the Magic Kingdom. For your 8:10 seating at Crystal Palace, I think Tyler's rule of thumb would be for you be ready at the bus stop no later than 7:30. And be sure you have your confirmation number with you, just in case.

Because your seating is right when the restaurant is first open, don't be too worried if you don't actually get to the door until 8:15 or 8:20. When the early morning rush comes in, they don't worry too much about the exact time of your reservation.

Thanks

My kids are 6&3, I will definitely be taking bus to MK!!!!
I guess I am worried about leaving the parks at closing, I think CSR has its own bus, will I get back to the resort faster using the bus or car?

the bus - with several thousand people also leaving when the park closes - WDW tranportation system can get overloaded.

those driving first have to get on the monrail - or get in the line for the monrail - then they have to get in line for the trans....

take the bus even if you have to wait - it is generally faster than trying to drive back.

I once drove to the MK - when it was time to close it was a nightmare - I really wished I hadn't driven. It took us an hour and half to get to the TTC trans - then another 50 minutes to get to the car.

I will add just a little to Spicey Cat's observations . . . . .

First, to say that if you're going any time after Labor Day, crowds will be smaller, and the end-of-day rush won't be as bad.

Second, everyone doesn't leave all at once on those days when there isn't a Spectromagic or a fireworks show. (Can't remember if they're doing fireworks every night for the 50th celebration) In that case, the rush wouldn't be so bad at closing.

Third, getting back to the TTC to get to the parking lot can be easier taking the boat rather than the monorail, as another option. But you'd still need to wait for the parking lot trams.

You have a benefit that Coronado Springs buses tend to be among the least crowded, because as a convention-oriented resort, they have a higher percentage of guests who aren't going to the parks, plus they don't share a bus with any other resort. But I would just be prepared for the *possibility* of waiting for possibly one extra bus, if the line at the MK bus depot is more than one bus-worth of people. If you're prepared for a little wait, you won't get stressed out, and there's a good possibility that you'll get on the first bus that shows up.

Even if you're thinking about driving to MK for your afternoon/evening visit, *definitely* take the bus over in the morning - trying to get from the parking lot to the gates for an early breakfast seating is just too complicated , with lots of things that could go wrong, depending on who happens to be working on a particular morning.

As for the other parks, I've never found car traffic to be a problem getting out of the lots at closing. From MGM and Epcot, just look for signs that say "Coronado Springs", "Animal Kingdom", or "All-Stars", and they will all take you in the direction you need to go.

Hope this is helpful.
