Best way to display jewelry for flea market?

My sister and I are participating in a large flea market sponsored by a local VFD ladies auxiliary. We both have some jewelry we want to sell (earrings, necklaces, bracelets). Nothing very expensive, but nice sets and loose pieces. We haven't ever done this before and are trying to figure out our best display options. Any suggestions will be most appreciated. Thank you!

If I were shopping, I'd be more likely to look if you had them placed on a background lying down, not hanging up. I'm thinking of a board covered with solid colored fabric maybe set up at a slight angle to the table.

my first thought was darker fabric so the pieces show up...but not knowing what your items look like maybe hold them against different fabric at home and see what works best. Have 2 or more (large enough) mirrors for people to see how the pieces look on. I would say hanging for earrings tho..some fun ideas are to simply get tree branches, natural items to use to hang things from. When I take earrings to re-sale shops I use index cards to hold them you know, punch the earring thru the card. Maybe if you have some left over card stock ot cardboard..you could even use old cereal boxes that you quick spray paint, then cut into squares or fun shape and poke the earring thru that, hand them from the tree branch or fishing wire you may sting up...anything that puts items at eye level, not completely clustered in one spot. You could also use cupcake time to hold bracelets, upside down, angled up a bit. Spray paint the time as well, maybe a non metallic color. I would stay away from any print fabric as it will take away from the jewelry.
Finally, if you can afford it, have a bunch of water bottles/cookies at your booth that you can sell for under $1...it will draw people over.

Another important thing (for me at least) which is probably so obvious that it might not be worth mentioning: anyone working in your booth should be WEARING your jewelery, as many types as you sell. If you sell earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings and ankle bracelets, you should be wearing at least one of each. It make a big difference to me.

And to echo what others have said: dark fabric on a board at an incline. Black velvet is pretty standard. Earrings hanging. Bracelets maybe on a fabric covered tube (like a sideways paper towel tube) would probably work.

And I would expect those small ziploc type bags for each individual piece after I buy it if you don't provide boxes with the cotton padding stuff(which I would rather get). I'm not going to be happy if I buy a ring and two necklaces and you toss them into one bag together.

Depends on how inexpensive I purchased these items for. I go to our local flea market almost every weekend and do not expect a special box or bag if it is an item that I like and the price is reasonable; I bring my own bag each week. The vendors who are selling are trying to make a few dollars if the item is reasonable and they do not have a box, I will wear the item home if it is delicate.

I would rather pay $3.00 for a nice piece of costume jewelry that I will wear all the time without a box or bag versus the same piece for $10.00 that comes in a $.50 ziploc bag.

The vendors who get my money are friendly, want to sell their items, and are reasonably priced.

You can display your necklaces on a dark plastic table cloth next to each other. The idea is to make money on what you are selling, simply displayed works for me. I usually buy pieces that match the outfits I have, but if I love a piece of jewelry and it looks good on me, bring on the shopping spree.
