Best way to carry on water

We are driving to port and want to bring a case of bottled water onboard. In the past, we purchased from onboard gifts but I see now that they are in the aluminum bottles and we don’t like the taste of those. I obviously don’t want to hand carry a heavy 24 pack for hours until our room is ready. Do most people just dedicate an entire suitcase just to water? Or do y’all have some other ingenious ways to bring it on? Thanks!

Any beverages you bring onboard must be carry on, not in checked bags. Possibly a wheeled carryon bag would work for you.

Yes, thank you. I know it has to be carry on not checked, that’s what I’m trying to figure out: the best way to carry it on without it being heavy and cumbersome all day.
My initial thought was using one of our smaller suitcases just for the water but didn’t know if anyone else did it other ways that was better than having a whole extra bag

We just use a rolling carryon. We usually board, have lunch, go to the Cove Bar for a drink and by then its almost 1:30 and the room is ready. Its not too bad dragging it around.

And I agree 100%...the water in a can is awful! We've also gotten it in a "box", on NCL (Pride of America) and that wasn't much better. 🤢

I use a rolling carry-on suitcase for my drinks. $17 for a 6-pack of plain water is ridiculous. The first cruise that I had to use those aluminum bottles, I got a small cut on my hand from opening one. Ugh!

We refill a reusable water bottle at the drink station for when we are on the pool deck and whatnot. We don’t mind that water at all. We like to have water on hand in the room and for excursions. The sink water from the rooms tastes funny IMO so that isn’t an option for us either.

Rolling suitcase it is!l for the case of water!
Thanks everyone!

If your party has more than one person, split the case among you; spread the load among several suitcases.

We used to carry on a case of water in a rolling suitcase. Then we discovered how good the water tastes from the refill stations on the ship. And it is ice cold! We haven’t brought any water since.
This!

We take our Yeti or any insulated thermos for that matter. I usually fill them up with ice and water at night and keep them in the cabin.
