What's the best way to bring your money to WDW? I know cash, for airline payments, and tips and such, but I am scared to bring just all that money in cash? Any other suggestions?
Travelers' checks if your bank or AAA still issues them. Chase Bank has ATM machines at all parks and resorts. If you will have a car, you can stop by a grocery or drug store and use your debit card for a small purchase and get cash back without any additional fees.
Most travel experts don't recommend debit cards for travel. Debit cards offer less protection than credit cards if stolen or "cloned." If stolen, the thief could literally wipe out your entire bank account with a debit card. There is much less liability with a credit card.

My nephew just had this happen while we were on a cruise a few weeks ago. He tried to use his debit card during the course of the trip and found that his card had been compromised and locked down by his bank. We actually think it had been compromised before we even left the US. My sister also had a debit card compromised a few years ago while traveling and she had not even pulled the card out throughout the entire trip. DH & I never use our debit card while traveling. Strictly, credit card or a small amount of cash.
We don't have debit cards... Don't need nor want one...
Long ago we used cash, then travelers checks and now credit card (Discover ) for the cash back... Room and food paid for with Disney Gift Cards for the fuel perks... Incidentals and card on file, is Discover..!
I just put everything on my CC. I bring a little bit of cash for tips but I charge whatever I can. I don't want to carry cash and I know my debit card isn't as secure, plus I don't earn points for spending on my debit card. A credit card is a no-brainer imo.
I am all about Disney gift cards. I go to Target because you can get 5% off all Disney gift card when using your Target Debit card. From there, I will charge all purchases and meals to the room each day and head down to the lobby desk to pay off the balance with those cards. This way, I don't need to carry them around with me all day.

Also some places offer travel money cards that you can load how much you want & get text alerts when card is used along with remaining balance so you can keep track. AAA offers it if you are a member, that's what I use when I stay.
I became a fan of the Disney Gift Cards on my last trip. My dad gave each of the kids $50 to spend over the 2 weeks. So instead of handing over a $50 bill to a (then) 11, 9 and 5 year old, I stopped at a store in DTD and got them each a gift card. It kept their money organized and I wasn't worried about the money getting lost. We are heading back in May and I plan to do the same but also get one for myself as well.
