We usually drive to WDW from the Washington D.C. area. We are now planning a sort of last minute trip - 4 weeks away - and have decided to fly. What's the best way to book airfare? where can I find the best prices? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

DW and I actually found a great rate in some junk e-mail, believe it or not, through Orbitz. Air fare to and from Richmond (RIC) is unbelievably high, but we got two round-trip tickets to Orlando in September for $210.00.

Check different sites -- Orbitz, Travelocity, the different airlines sites. You might need to keep a couple of different browser windows open at once so you can compare. And check ALL airports within a reasonable drive. I don't know where in the DC area you are, but check all three airports up there and compare.

you could always try priceline.

biddingfortravel.com gives you some pointers if you havent used it before

The best I can find so far is $210 pp round trip on Delta . Is this reasonable? We're going the last week in August. Should I wait and keep looking - will fares go up or do you think I can find a better deal?

If you are willing to fly out of BWI you can get great rates at Southwest. DD and I are flying out of there in Sept for $96 plus tax total of $233. Goog luck

I have been searching for months for a flight from Lex to Mco and after checking all the different sites (travelocity, orbitz, expedia, side step etc etc), the cheapest flight is still on delta's site. I use delta due to the flight times, they are much better for me than any other airline. The price I am finding is not great but it's that or drive 2 hrs to a different airport.
