DH and I are trying to figure out the best way to get from BCV to the main entrance of Epcot, by Future World.

I know we can walk or take the boat from the International Gateway, but we really want to start our touring plan from the Future World Entrance.

Suggestions on the best way to get there?

Thanks!!

You could take a cab for about $3-4 plus tip.

Otherwise probably bus to the MK then monorail to Epcot.

From the BCV, you can almost fall out of bed into Epcot;) .

Just walk through the IG and into future world and then start your touring plan. It will be the fastest way.

Taking the bus to MK and monorail to Epcot would consume almost an hour.

Taking the boat to MGM and the bus to Epcot would be at least 45 minutes.

The cab ride would take 10 minutes plus a few minutes waiting for the cab.

Even taking the boat to Epcot from BC/YC dock will take longer than just hiking over from the BCV to Epcot.

Thank you all for your suggestions! Let me clarify a little if I could, please.

We are staying at BCV, but we want to enter Epcot from the Future World Entrance. I know we can walk to the International Gateway, and we will come back that way! But we definitely want to enter through FW.

Is it fastest to take a cab? Bus? Which bus? How can I find out the charge for a cab?

Thanks again!

The fastest way is to walk. There is no direct bus. You could take a cab BUT the walk to get to the International Gateway is probably about the same as the the walk to where you would get a cab. The walk from where the cab drops you off to TT is not much shorter than the walk from the International Gateway to TT. There is a walkway along the side of BCV that is literally next to EPCOT. Don't take the boat, the walk to the boat dock is longer than the walk to the entrance. You can literally walk to the front entrance if that's what you want to do.

If you insist on Disney transportation walk or boat to MGM and then take the bus BUT you're turning a 10-15 minute walk into an hour adventure.

You could also take a bus to AK or MK and then transfer to an EPCOT bus. AK would be easier as at MK you would need to take the bus to MK and then monorail or ferry to the TTC to catch the bus for EPCOT.

But as Lewis said, this transforms a 15 minute walk into a WDW transportation adventure. If you want to start your tour in the front of EPCOT just walk all the way there.

Actually you'd take the monorail from the TTC to EPCOT.

LOL, of coourse. That's what I get for typing and talking at the same time.....don't ask about chewing gum and walking.

The walk to the Intl Gateway once you step off the BC/BCV property is incredibly short, less than 5 minutes at a decent pace.

If you want to enter from the main entrance instead of the International Gateway. A cab or driving is the fastest. The next would be go to another park and then take a bus to EPCOT. There is a boat to MGM/DS or you can take a rather long walk there, then a bus or take the first park bus that comes by and then take a bus to EPCOT.
