Best Water Park in the area ... please?

I just can't decide if my family should take the Warner Brothers Tour, go to Knotts Berry Farm, or a water park. (we already have 5 day passes to DL).

We are going to Universal, Seaworld and Legoland which is why I think maybe that Knotts might be theme park overkill!!!

I would like to go on the Warner Tour but the kids are 13, 12, 9 and 9 and I'm not sure something like that is for kids (anybody?).

We are already spending a day at the beach....

What do you think is the best waterpark and why....we are staying right across Harbour Blvd and would like to stay close instead of deal with more traffic although if one water park is much better than others we would go regardless.

Help and opinions would be appreciated.

The closest would be Soak City at Knott's (though after watching the Ghostrider roller coaster rumble by a few times, you may wish you'd just gone to Knott's) but the best would be Raging Waters in San Dimas. It consistently makes the Travel Channel's top 10 waterparks list each year and is usually ranked in the top 3. It's certainly the biggest in So Cal. Soak City is tiny by comparison, though if all you're looking for is a few hours of fun, soak city would be fine. If it's all day, go for Raging Waters. As a teenager I was able to spend all day there w/o getting board and they didn't have nearly the rides they do now. It would take 45 minutes to an hour in typical rush hour traffic to get there from the DL area, but depending on what you're looking for, it might be worth it.

My son is on a group trip to Wild Rivers today. I will have him give a review when he gets home tonight.

Wild Rivers is about 20 minutes south of the Disneyland Resort.

<font color=navy>I've been to Raging Waters a few times, and really like that water park. If you're looking at the closest it's Soak City, but it's pretty small, and not themed, from what I can see looking in from the outside.

Wild Rivers is smaller than Raging Waters, but is also a nice water park.

Newbie here! We'll be in So. CA in 26 days from Mass. We are doing San Diego first then will be driving up to Anaheim for five days. I was looking into water parks and found that Wild Rivers is on our way from San Diego. I was wondering if anyone could answer some questions about it. Do you have to rent the rafts to do the slides or do they have ones you can use like Disneyworld has? Are there beach chairs to use if you don't want to use the slides all day? Is there anywhere you can get discount coupons for the park? Thanks for any insight, your site has been very informative so far.
