Best water bottle for the parks?

We leave in a week, and I'd originally thought we'd bring our refillable mugs into the park, but I'm worried about spilling. What is your preference to keep water cold that is reasonably priced? Preferably a top my 3 year old can drink from without making a big mess, ie flip or straw top.

TIA!

My preference is none. You can get free cups of water at any counter service location and I find it much easier than lugging a bottle around.

This is what we've done in the past too but find the taste of the FL water off putting so we don't drink as much as we should. Another looking for water bottle suggestions. Has anyone used the Brita filtered bottles? thoughts?

When my girls were 2 & 4 we brought their Nalgene water bottles that had the hard rubber sip spout (I think you can still get at Target). Now they have the Camelback brand bite and sip water bottles. I'm guessing you'll have a stroller and possibly a small cooler bag for snacks so slip water bottle in their to keep cool.

We have Hydro Flask bottles. They really do keep ice all day long. We carry extra bottled water in the backpack and refill the Hydro Flask bottle as the day goes on. The bottles do not sweat and some are available with a flip top drinking spout.

Second something like hydroflask. I just ordered one for my daughter for our trip. I dont like the idea of her drinking from plastic thats been in the heat all day.

I also recommend the Hydroflask. We've used ours for years and they keep water super cold all day.

I'd you don't like the taste of FL water, and don't want to buy water, use a Brita water bottle that filters free water. They come in kid sizes too . It's not great on keeping it cold, so I put a small amount of water in the bottom (so the filter won't hit it), and freeze it overnight, then fill the rest in the morning.

We have a Hydroflask with a sport top. It keeps water cold all day! We also got DS a Funtainer Thermos for school, and it also keeps his juice cold all day. I usually fill it at night and put it in the refrigerator until he leaves for school in the morning. When he gets home in the afternoon his juice is still cold. It has an easy push-button top that pops open and has a spill-proof straw underneath it. For our upcoming trip, we will probably bring the flask full of water and use it to refill his cup for him while DH and I drink from the flask.

I did the Brita. And I used that to squirt into the kids/hubbies water bottles after they finished theirs.
