Best Walking Sandals for WDW????

Keen's all the way. They are incredibley comfortable and waterproof. You can't beat that for Disney.

ECCO Sandals although I don't wear them I used to sell them! They are light weight and have a polyurethane sole on them to which the leather upper of the sandal is injected into. Guests always raved about how long they lasted and how comfy they were!

I wore Merrell slides with sneaker-like soles the whole time I was in Disney a year and a half ago. I think the rest of my body started to ache before my feet did. :>

Has anyone tried Chaco's? I am thinking of ordering some, but I can't decide which style would be the most comfortable. We are cruising right after WDW, so I want a sandal that will be good for both the parks and the beach.

Birkenstocks, definitely. Tevas are okay in the rain if you don't have waterproof Birks...but the straps can start to rub after a while and they tend to make the soles of my feet sore.

I think I need to put a pair of waterproof Birkenstocks on my wish list. I will warn everyone that the suede footbed Birkies get really slimy if they get wet! And really, reconstituted foot sweat is just gross.

Dh has Nike Straprunners that he loves and they are water-proof which is nice for those summer storms. I have some that are similar from Lands End. Very comfy but I'm thinking of getting the Merrill slides for this year. We always take sneakers and sandals.

lol! That is the funniest thing I have read all day. :) It's so funny because I know exactly what you mean, yeah, wet Birks are gross.

My husband and I usually wear tevas and I sometimes wear my birkenstocks.

I am a Teva fan. I find them more comfortable than my sneakers. In fact, I don't just wear them at Disney, I wear them pretty much every day.

Unless I need to wear long pants, then I put on sneakers.

Ecco Motion 3 strap (velcro) sandals are comfortable and indestructable. I bought my first pair for a trip to Europe . Walked over cobblestones for miles and miles and never felt a single pain. The part that touches your foot is very soft and the sole is very supportive. They come in black, red and navy. I must sound like a paid endorser, but I LOVE these shoes. I have two pair and that's all I wear in the summer, even to work. Here's a link to a very good price ($70)

I love Borns and Clarks, especially Borns. I just bought a new pair of New Balance tennis shoes and two pair of Borns for my March trip.

BIRKENSTOCKS all the way. I just asked the question on another board looking for Birkenstock lovers. Read a thread about Tevas and wanted to know if there are any other Birkenstock lovers out there!!! The ONLY sandal we'll use. ::MinnieMo

I wore Rockport sandals the whole time on our last trip. I had been a bit leary of trying sandals, as I'd always believed sneakers offered the best support. I loved them! The style name is Visby. I got mine at the Rockport outlet, so I don't know if they're available at retail stores.

I love my Merrells. Had them for a few years now so I don't know the style name but they offer phenomenal support. DH is a fan of the Nikes. Thanks so much for the other suggestions - always looking for new walking sandals!

Does anyone have any comfy flip flop sandals? I've tried a variety of flip flops looking for comfy ones, but I haven't found anything yet. I have a pair of Sketchers flip flops, but they kill my arches. I hear everyone raving about Teva sandals, but I don't really like those kind of sandals--the water sandal style. Can anyone help a flip flop lover????

go to Zappo's or teva.com. They have teva sandals in the flip flop style.

The Teva flip flops (called MUSH) are very soft and comfy!

Does anyone know if any of their other sandals have such a comfortable foot bed? The other Teva sandals I've felt in the store have a harder footbed.

What about wearing "Crocs" ?

Has anyone done a park in those?

We just bought some today...11 y/o dd fell in love with them. The salesman said there were a lot of ER and surgical nurses buying them for the non-slip soles. I'm just not sure how comfy they will be after a few hours of walking in the heat/humidity.

I need some advice about what are considered to be the best walking sandals for WDW. I normally would wear sneakers, but prefer sandals. Please help :confused3

birkenstocks on dry days, tevas for wet days. I like to alternate between the two :)
