Best Views at Saratoga Springs

We're planning on trying Saratoga Springs in late October. Any suggestions on where to stay and what type of view to request? Thanks!

Personally, I like the golf course view @ Grandstand. You feel like you are in the middle of a country retreat.

Congress Park overlook of DTD is very nice at night but I prefer the Grandstand and being able to overlook the Golf Course during the day!

We were at SSR and had a view of DD. We sat out on our patio, and looked out at the lake and DD. We were at Congress Park as well.

Do all rooms at SSR have balconies? We have requested the Grandstand area.

This is the 1st time staying at our home resort.

Well, I just got back last night and we stayed in both Congress Park and the Grandstand on this trip. We had a great view of DD in Congress Park. Room 1425 is a 1-bedroom on the 4th floor and it had an awesome view. Unfortunately we ended up on the 1st floor with a parking lot view at the Grandstand. It was a terrible view. But it was super close to the pool. We kept beer and soda in the frig and just walked back to the room to get drinks instead of using the pool bar.

Can anyone suggestion a quiet room with a great view. I'm stayed SSR for my honeymoon in December and would welcome any suggestions.

The picture in my previous post is from a studio numbered 9836. The studio was at the end of the building and not many people used to walk by, it is on the top floor as well

This will be our first stay at SSR. How far is Congress Park from the main building, restaurants, main pool? Is it a long walk?

Also, is the walk to DD long? We will be with our 4 y.o. dd.

I would plan on a 7-10 minute walk from Congress Park to the restaurants (both Turf Club and Artist's Pallette) and main pool and about 10-15 minutes from Congress Park to DTD.

Congress Park is pretty much in the middle of Community Hall (the center of the resort) and DTD. It is our favorite section of SSR. If you would rather be closer to Community Hall I would suggest staying in the Springs or Grandstand section. The Grandstand pool would be a hit with your four year old.
