Can someone tell me what restaurants have the best view for firework shows ?

Do all the parks have fireworks ?

MK =
AK =
Epcot =

Thanks

Don't know much, but here's my 2 cents worth (that's a lot from a gal named Penny :rotfl: )

AK does not have a fireworks display. I don't think you can view fireworks from inside any of the restaurants at MK (chime in if I'm wrong guys ;) ) Rose and Crown patio is a good viewing spot for Illuminations at Epcot.

Citricos and California Grill are supposed to have great views of the MK fireworks.

They are very hard to get into on those nights.

A few years ago we got a table at King Stephan's (now Cinderealla's Royal Table) a little before fireworks. We got the best table in the place, a little 2-top sitting in the middle of the bay of leaded glass windows that face out the back of the castle. Little did we know this would be great for viewing Fantasy in the Sky (old fireworks show). They piped in the music and dimmed the lights and we saw the whole show out the leaded glass windows. Quite a beautiful way to see it! And the meal was excellent.

NOW--I have no idea if Wishes can be viewed very well from here or not. We may try in December on one of our extra nights after we see the show from a known good location!

I have to second kadten's opinion on CRT for fireworks. Though I won't be seeing wishes until December, so have no knowledge of the view of that particular show from the restaurant, I have viewed many Fantasy in the Sky shows from CRT and the view is beautiful.

It is possible to see the fireworks from Illuminations from a window seat at Bistro de Paris, but you'd miss some of the show due to trees.

Narcoossee's at the GF offers a veranda (or guests of the restaurant only) to view the fireworks. This how we watch the Fourth of July show each year and it is stunning.

Except for special showings of Sorcery in the Sky, MGM only has Fantasmic and you must be in the theater to experience the show (except for some higher level fireworks that can actually be seen from Califormia Grill, I believe).

California Grill's view is beautiful and if you can't get a window seat, you can go out on the observation deck and watch.

BEST VIEW..Narcoossee's, providing other patrons are not blocking your view from outside...cal Grille is nice but view is not as good unless you go outside (IMO)

I will be traveling with 2 very elderly people (in wheelchairs) and I would love it if they could get a really good view of the fireworks at our dinner. We can take them out onto a veranda but we're not sure which restaurant will have the better vew (inside or out)?

Just outside Mexico is a little food place where you can buy nachos I think, and on cold nights, hot chocolate.

Sit down in one of the tables, and you have an excellent view of Illuminations. Not to mention, it's right next to the entrance back into Future World, so it won't take you forever to get out.

A very few tables at Citricos have a limited fireworks view. Perhaps you were thinking of Narcooses? That and The California Grill are the two with good fireworks views.

FYI...You CAN'T see the whole Wishes presentation from CRT....it does get you closer to the action, but IMO it kinda stinks compared to ANYWHERE in front of the castle.....

I have seen Fantasy in the Sky from Ohana, but you gotta be NOT behind the volcano pool......and its not that impressive from that far away....

We have PS for LTT for a Birthday Dinner at 4:30 one night....then we want to find the perfect spot for Wishes. I was thinking of heading up Main Street to possible lessen the mob exit effect. How far back up Main Street is good. Is Casey's Corner too far?

Ducklite is right--the two "best" views are from California Grill and Narcoosee's. Both have observation areas just outside the restaurant for excellent viewing in case you can't get a coveted window table.

Main Street is WAY crowded during wishes.....I would think the PERFECT place to watch it from would be the train station.....I have seen it from the Crystal Palace area a couple times, and you can see it great......but to get the picture framed right, you have to be straight down main street....(aka like fireworks behind the castle and such)

I've never even been in the train station. Tell me about that...sounds fun ::yes::

Thanks...we were misinformed about Citricos. We hve not decided it that will change were we eat since Citricos sounded so good.

there is a platform on the castle side of the station at the same height as the train.....it seems like a good place to see the fireworks from (I think I saw the "official" Wishes picture from it) but you would probably have to wait there for hours cuz people like to watch spectro from there too.....

That might work for us b/c I don't think Spectro is going during the week (1st week in February) :( A small price to pay for quiet parks ;)

We are just back:( on Sunday and our two favorites were California Grill and Narcoosees. I liked the view better from CG and DH and kids seemed to like Narcooseess. IMHO you can;t go wrong with either.
