I'm leaving to Disney World on Aug 26 and wanted to know which would give me the best quality video?
Using my Iphone 6 plus or something like a GoPro(without a selfie stick of course)

I've personally had my eye on the RED Scarlet Dragon, a 6K cinema camera for just under $15,000. ;)

Seriously though the iPhone 6 shoots some really great video. The GoPro costs hundreds of dollars and the video features are only marginally better than your iPhone (and I only mean features - the actual video quality is about the same).

The iPhone doesn't have the annoying fisheye lens.

Actually, the Gopro, (the Hero4 anyway) will give you higher quality video, and I can see the difference, but as far as being worth the cost.. not if you're only goind to use it on vacation.

I have a Gopro, and I love it, but I do record a few hours of video each week.

At Disney, I don't even bring the Gopro with me every day...

If you got to youtube and search for the series "Pittsburgh Dad" they are all shot on an iPhone. it's pretty good quality without the hassle of carrying the gopro.

The iPhone camera and video are great. If you have a gopro as well though, I'd bring that and record video with it. Seems a lot easier to edit a video together with the gopro rather than an iPhone.

But if you don't have a gopro, I wouldn't go out and get one just for your trip. Unless you go often or would be using the gopro for other activities after the trip

GoPro Hero 4 for SURE! We just got one in April for our last vacation (the silver one) to use underwater and have been SO IMPRESSED! I'm so glad we got it and it is worth every penny! We can't wait to bring it to Disney!

GoPro for sure for quality and versatility of shots. If you have time, buy it early and practice at home so you're comfortable using it (its easy). Then when in Disney you can film while being in the moment and not so focused on learning your new technology.

GoPro for sure :) Just make sure you buy it ahead of time enough to get familiar with it. We bought ours last year just two days before our trip. Needless to say, I'm sure I could have done much better with it, had I more time to learn it, LOL! Oh, and I just got the cheapie $129 version and it worked really well I thought. The only issue that was aggravating was that it doesn't do well in low light. Other than that, it worked well :)

If you change the settings it will record better in low light, I wouldn't put that as a negative (esp when comparing to iPhone).

also if you don't want to buy a gopro. I rented one from borrowlenses.com gopro hero 3 rented for 57 bucks (that was with mandatory insurance for a week). they give you the box to ship it back also for free.
I'm renting it again for my upcoming trip.

The iPhone 6 Plus' camera is excellent. If you're going to have it on you anyway, it's an excellent choice.
