Thinking I had a perfectly usable video camera, I ignored all the discussions and sales around Black Friday. My husband attempts to charge ours up in preparation for our 11yo's big performance at school last night, and it's totally dead. Doesn't work with the battery or plugged directly into a socket. YIKES!!!
We don't use the camera very often, but we need one for those special events. Any suggestions appreciated on the best value these days.

P.S. Then I'll have to figure out how to get all our old videos off the Hi8 tapes. DOUBLE YIKES!
