So We will be in Epcot around lunch time during our may trip. Its my DBF's first disney trip. He isnt much into the hot weather so maybe an indoor place would be best. He is also a food junkie and a big eater (but a non loaded college student)

Where can we eat a CS for the best bang for our buck?!

and where the food is good :-):woohoo:

The CS I've eaten at were Sunshine Seasons (Which is like a Mall Courtyard) in the Land...
This has many options...many of which are Great values for the $$...

America has a good CS meal as well... More than enough food.

Options I'd like to try but have not yet...are the CS in Japan & Morocco....

Have a magical visit!

Vote number 2 for Sunshine Seasons. We really enjoyed that when we ate there.

Another vote for Sunshine Seasons. Great variety (my favorite is the salmon with olive tapenade - yum!) and it is indoors. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I will say that Morocco's quick service is really good but the seating is not in a/c. But what a yummy, unique and BIG meal! :thumbsup2

One more vote for Sunshine Seasons!! Great selection of various types of food. There's something for everyone!

We always make a stop at Sunshine Seasons, so many delish choices! And really good deserts too- try the strawberry shortcake.....YUMMM.

Plenty of seating too..with nice cool AC.

For value, the CS place in Morocco is a great deal. Lots of filling protein. It's something we often get for our main meal of the day. There are great tables in the shade and it tends to be breezy there even if it isn't in the air conditioning.

The other most awesome value is the School Bread in Norway. It's a loaf of slightly sweet bread filled with vanilla custard and topped with icing and coconut. It is HUGE--like 3 doughnuts together huge. We will often split a sandwich and a School Bread and be stuffed.

I will say that while I enjoyed the food at the Japanese CS, I didn't find it to be a particularly filling meal. Sunshine Seasons has some great options for "real" food, but i'd check out the menu ahead of time to figure out "bang for your buck."

You might be better off snacking/munching around Epcot at the different places if it's no too hot!

im a HUGE Sunshine Seasons fan!!! its a must when im there! :thumbsup2

Another vote here for the Tangierine Cafe in Morocco. Great food and big portions.

It is funny that as soon as I read your question the exact two places that everyone mentions here came to mind. Sunshine Season's food is so good and fresh tasting BUT it is soooo noisy and crowded at lunch time! We had to wait about 5 minutes for a table! The Tangeriene Cafe in Morrocco is the BEST! The food is delicious and we found a nice table on the patio in the shade. The chicken and hummus were sooooo good! The baklava was amazing we all fought over it!! I felt like Morrocco was a bigger bang for our buck but there is not indoor seating. But at least it was calm and uncrowded!!!

Have fun at Epcot and don't forget to get some treats around the World, especially at France! The bakery is to die for!!!!!!!!!!!

I always eat at Kringla in Norway but I'm a bit biased. I love the lefse.

Do a food crawl at all of the CS restaurants - that's what we love about the WS! Try a combo of these side orders and eat around the world:
Mexico - side order of black beans
China - an order of egg rolls
Norway - anything from the bakery
Germany - a pretzel or a side order of sauerkraut
Italy - a cannoli or chocolates from the store
USA - a SAM ADAMS
Japan - kid order of Teriyaki Chicken
Morocco - an order of hummus and pita chips
France - anything from the bakery
UK - chips from the chip shop
Canada - popcorn!

You'll be full and have done a delicious tour of the WS!

THAT sounds like a WONDERFUL idea ! :cool1:

Don't do it. You've been warned... ;)

Really!?!?! Do Tell !!!!:goodvibes

I listed b'c I read a thread on here where folks raved about it...HOWEVER...it would be the very HARDEST one for us to eat at...

Because Teppan Edo is a family tradition ...and my DS won't let us eat anywhere else...so it's a logistical nightmare for me to figure out a visit where we eat CS & TS at Japan...:confused3

So ...again...do tell your thoughts on CS/Japan....:thumbsup2

[bolding mine] Why would you eat at what is essentially a mall food court when there are so many neat dining options in World Showcase? If I wanted to eat at that mall, I can do that at home.:confused3
