I also liked the Unofficial Guide to WDW.
...and if you have children, it's fun to get them WDW for Kids, written by kids!

Keep in mind that Disney is constantly changing things - so books are not always up-to-date! So, don't forget about the DIS!

I've read most of them, as have many others. I like The Unofficial Guide best. Very comprehensive.

Unofficial Guide. I think I have each year's version since 2002! I also have a passporter and while I am pretty much using it to keep track of my ressie numbers and PS times and other itinerary items, I find the UG has more info.

The Unofficial Guide is hands down my favorite. But I always buy a Passporter as a trip planner. Even UOG recommends this!

I like the Unofficial Guide too, especially if I want to sit down and read about WDW. But I have to totally recommend Tour Guide MIke's website. The subscription is 18.95 with a discount, but with his advice, we waited in NO LINES in August! Okay, maybe 10 minutes or so once or twice, but that was it. He gives really current info and tells you which parks to visit which day (and why). I actually printed out all of his advice (the stuff that I would use anyway) and put it in a notebook and brought it WDW with me. My family thought I was crazy, but they had to hand it to me by the end of the week when we had such an enjoyable vacation. And no, I don't work for TGM. I'm just one of those people that totally champion something I believe is well worth while.
