definitely want to take a towncar for next months disney trip. which one includes grocery store stop. and at this grocery store, do they sell beer???? :p which one offers best service with nice cars?? thanks

The only one I've used is Tiffany Towncar and I'm happy with them. And they take credit cards which is good for me as I do not like to carry a lot of cash.

Since FL Tours is sponsoring The DIS I arranged for them this trip. I want to support the people who support the site that's helped me a ton!

We've used both Yourride & Tiffany within the last few months. Both were there as scheduled for all pickups. But we prefer Tiffany. Yourride told us at the time of reservation that we could pay with our AmEx, then didn't want to take it as payment (we had to use cash). Also, our Yourride driver spent most of the trip from the airport to the resort dissing Disney, which we did not appreciate. Our Tiffany driver was wonderful - very professional, drove very safely on a rainy night which we appreciated, and on our return trip, also a very rainy day, there were towels in the car - really everything we could have hoped for in terms of quality service. We're using Tiffany again on our next trip in 3 weeks.

If you never used any other company...how do you know yourride is the best?

Another vote for Tiffany. Have used them for two trips and we have had great service both times. On time and very friendly!

I have used Tiffany 3 or 4 times and YourRide once and have YourRide scheduled for June. I enjoyed Tiffany the very first time. However, subsequent trips we had limited speaking drivers and a few who liked to wave in and out of traffic more than I care for.

YourRide was terrific!! Had Jim for both segments of the ride which was nice since he knew us.

Tiffany for us, very helpful last week..... Was there on time both ways.... No more mears for us..... Thanks Tiffany......

I have used Tiffany and Happy Limo and and had a terrible experience with Happy Limo. For some dumb reason they require you to call once you arrive (instead of just being there waiting for you). Anyway I got to the airport and when I tried to call - nobody answered the phone!! I tried calling for over 1 hour and nobody ever answered the phone!! Needless to say I was really upset as I was arriving early in the evening, and was now losing valuable park-time. When I finally got someone to answer they apologized and said that there phone system was down. HOWEVER - when I asked for some sort of cut in the price they were not willing to offer me any kind of reimbursement (said it wasn't there fault) and just offered an apology. Tiffany was 20 minutes late arriving at the airport when I used them, but the driver was so courteous I didn't mind as much.

I just returned from a 12 day vacation during which all our transportation was provided by FL Tours.

Andy met us at the airport, took us to The Radisson by the port in Coco Beach. Picked us up from the cruise ship and took us to the Dolphin, then from the Dolphin back to the airport.

Always on time, Always friendly and helpful - it was a great trip - Thanks Andy!

I used Tiffany Towncars on our last trip and it was great. Driver was waiting for us and had gotten us a skycap to help with our luggage before we even arrived. Paid with credit card with no problems. Everything was professional. I will be using them again on our next trip.

We do a lot of Disney cruises and have used Happy Limo to go to Port Canaveral as well as our WDW trips. I have details in the trip reports on my website, and we'll be using them again next week for our Easter weekend cruise, so I'll be posting another report. Last time was in March. They have really nice cars and are always reliable.

We used FL tours for our Sept visit. Service was great. Our flight was 1.5 hours late and our driver kept up with the flight and was there waiting for us (when we arrived at 1am). They provided 2 car seats at no extra charge. We also used them as our transportation to the RPR from the YC. They were always on time and drivers were nice and friendly. We will use them for our next trip.

We have used Tiffany 3 times as well and this last trip had a scary driver. He was fine on the drop off (friendly, happy, safe driver) but on the return trip was not talking and REALLY driving badly. Since I was sitting behind him I could not really see him but DH said he nearly fell asleap several times!! He had mentioned on the way to WDW that they were having him do really late pick up's and then early pick up's the next day. In August we will be renting a car:)

We just got back from WDW and Disney cruise. We used Cartier Towncar and they were excellent. We had Ali on two of the legs and Hector on the third. Both were very professional. We had 3 passengers and on two of the legs of our trip we had a complimentary upgrade to a stretch limo. They had good prices and tipping wasn't included in the price at 20% like Happy Limo does. We ended up tipping 20% anyway, but it was at our choosing instead of being included regardless of the service.

We had a bad experience with Happy Limo previously. They were not at the Port to pick us up at our scheduled time. We tried calling for 45 minutes and couldn't get a response. And just like WDW2000, they told us the phone system was down. Then we received two different stories from the guy on the phone and the driver that finally arrived. The worst part for me was that when I contacted them after returning home, they never acknowledged or responded. I think that is poor customer service.

So, when we booked this trip, Happy Limo was not a consideration. We were going to use Yourride, but two times when I emailed to find out if it is necessary to give a credit card prior to the trip to pay by credit card, the response I received both times was "we prefer cash". I think if a company only wants to take cash, they should be upfront about it instead of advertising that they accept credit cards. At any rate, we switched to Cartier and I was very pleased. They do include the complimentary grocery stop and you can pay with credit card if you want.

Music Mole- our driver at Yourride also spent time from MCO to resort talking negative about Disney. It just puts somewhat of a damper on the beginning of the trip as I really don't want to hear that. The driver was on time both at the airport and our resort and overall he was a nice guy just really did not like Disney. I may try another service this year (just in hopes that I get a happier driver).

We booked Happy Limo for our "trip of a lifetime" last year. I wouldn't let anything ruin my trip so I thought after the bad experience with HL, we'd still give them another shot...we're going back in three weeks...ssshhhhhh the kids don't know yet! ;) After thinking more clearly about it, I decided to tell HL how we felt about our experience with them. Here is the letter I sent:

Dear Happy Limo,
I decided to write to you to let you know about our unsatisfactory experience with your limo service last May. I've debated for a very long time about writing this but decided to when I began searching for transportation for our upcoming Walt Disney World trip.
Our first experience with Happy Limo was at the Orlando Airport, when we arrived on 15 May 2002. As stated on your website, I expected to see a driver holding a sign with our name on it. We looked, no sign. We got our bags and looked again, no sign. We waited a bit longer, still no sign. Finally, I called on my cell phone to find out where our limo was. I was told that we were supposed to meet our driver outside at a particular spot and that Happy Limo drivers don't come in to the terminal. (stated as if I was supposed to know this) Then I was informed that our driver had been detained with the previous customer and they would send someone else in 5 mins. Keep in mind, this is our first impression of your limo service.
Within 5 mins, Cindy arrived in an older, quite worn, limo. No problem. We'll give you the benefit of the doubt. By the way, Cindy was wonderful!!! She told our kids where to look to see their first sights of Walt Disney World and Florida. She really made a bad situation better. We arrived at the Grand Floridian and began our wonderful Disney vacation, but the start had been a little rough.
The second leg of our vacation was on Disney Cruise Line. We were picked up at the Grand Floridian precisely at 9:30am as requested, in a much nicer limo, on 19 May 2002. The driver was efficient, yet nothing like Cindy. (Rather stiff and cold.) I never did get his name and neither did my husband. We arrived at the port and continued our wonderful vacation.
Upon our disembarkation from DCL on 23 May 2002, we crossed to the parking lot just as a limo from your service was arriving. We assumed it must be our limo but were told that it was not. They were waiting for another family. We waited and the other driver waited. No limo for us and no other family. I called your office several times before I reached anyone. When I finally reached a person, he went to check to see what was going on. He came back on the line and told me that our party had been picked up. I informed him that we had *not* been picked up and we were still at the port. I also told him that the other driver was there and his party hadn't shown up. We (the other driver and us) had been staring at each other for over a half an hour at this point. We were told to go with this other driver. Why was it that *I* had to do the calling to find out what was going on? The other driver just stood around smoking his cigarettes while I made the calls on my cell phone, paying roaming charges! I don't know whose fault the mix up was, but it certainly wasn't ours. Our assigned driver had a responsibility to make sure he was picking up the proper party. The other party should have made sure they were in the proper limo. What more could we have done? The other driver was much like the second driver. He was courteous but far from friendly. We never did get his name either. Perhaps since the gratuity is figured into the bill, they know they are going to get at least 20% so why go out of their way to be friendly.
We had decided that we were going to enjoy our trip no matter what and nothing was going to spoil it. We just chalked up the limo experience to unfortunate circumstances and decided it wasn't going to have an impact on our trip. We had a wonderful time despite our limo experience. On top of that, I had considered perhaps giving Happy Limo another chance. We did get to our destinations, although a little later than planned.
As I looked into other transportation options for our upcoming trip, I have since decided that I don't want to take the chance of having to call to find out where our limo is. Besides that, I have found better rates for a limo from MCO to The Contemporary Resort. I know your website says you will match prices, but think about it. Would you give a new company a chance to prove their service or use a company that was late picking you up, 2 out of 3 times?
I just thought you ought to know why we will not be using Happy Limo on our upcoming trip to Walt Disney World.

Sincerely,

I have yet to receive a response in any way from them. (not that I asked them to respond, but courteous businesses would acknowledge it.)

You decide, but we are trying Cartier Towncar this time around.

The last time we used Tiffany, our driver actually fell asleep! Luckily, not while driving. When he stopped for our grocery stop (it was around 11:30pm) he fell asleep while we were in the store. :o When we returned to the towncar, we found him sound asleep & snoring. It did make me a little nervous on the trip from the store to WDW.

Wow! I would be scared too:) My DH said he nearly rear ended someone in front of us twice.

So I'm pretty convinced based on all these posts that Tiffany is a good way to go but do they make the grocery stop? Nothing is mentioned on their web page
