Best touring shoe or sandal for wide feet

I have very wide feet and if I wear tennis shoes at Disney I get blisters When I went to WDW for the first time last year, I bought Teva sandals and it was the best purchase I have ever made! I wore them for 6 days straight, 4 park days, two travel days, walked miles and miles, and never got one blister! Plus my feet never hurt! And when it rained a bit they dried fast. Love them! I wear them to DL all the time now and will be taking them to WDW next year for my 9 day trip!!!

My favorite sneaker is Asics right now. They are wide enough and give me support for my high arches.

For sandles, I love my Keens. They have a large toe box.

I'm just back from WDW & I'm a Florida girl & am used to being mostly barefoot or in my croc flip flops, but this trip I wore my New Balance (white) 608 size 7 EEEE sneaks & absolutely was in heaven!! First time no blisters & no leg cramps in the parks.

New Balance makes a great athletic shoe for wide feet. I often joke that my feet are about as wide as they are long (think Fred Flintstone). And, as previous posters have mentioned, Tevas are great...love their "Mush" flip flops. I can walk all day in them.

I feel your pain. I have Fred Flintstone feet. I don't like sneakers in the park because I always end up wet either from a ride or a quick storm. I like waterproof. I go with Keens. There are 2 styles I prefer the ones with less straps (I can't remember the name I'll edit when I look it up)
Venice H2 is the style I like.

I also like vionic flip flops. They have great arch support and are super comfy. I did just buy a pair of sandals with a wedge from them that I plan on wearing out to dinner.

I swear by Sanuk!! I love their Yoga Sling for a sandal option or the Runaround style for more coverage. Their shoes feature a rubbery insole that dries out quickly (less blisters from sweat/water). You can often find Sanuk shoes on Amazon for much cheaper than the retail price.

Vans Authentic tennis shoes. Every Disney trip, every day, that's all I wear. No socks when it's hot and my feet don't sweat. To me, they're like wearing slippers.

I wear keens or new balance flip flops. I wear danskos all winter so I wear shoes for comfort.

But if I went in colder months I'd have to figure out a different shoe. I actually just bought shoes similar to the sketchers go walks but I think they are more comfy. They are by CobbHill-fit spa CH. they are by new balance (hmmm a trend...that why I love my flip flops.

My right foot is wider then my left and these are really comfy.

My problem isn't actually that my feet are wide, more that the weight gain of pregnancies (and just overeating!) has made my feet more flat, which causes problems for sandals, heels, etc.
I found that Teva's worked for me because I could adjust the straps so my feet would get all the way in there

I don't think Sanuk offers wide widths but the Yoga Sling is very stretchy and accommodating of many types of feet - I have wide, thick feet but my mom's are small and narrow and we both wear them comfortably. The material on the top of the sandal is very soft.

I feel like we are kindered spirits!!! I had two babies in the summer only wore my croc flip flops and now my feet are ruined.... I feel your pain. I appreciate everyone's suggestions. I am going to try out some of the suggestions.

I really do like the Croc Capri Flip flops but I have noticed they are making them smaller so now I have gone up another size I agree with one of the others- wearing sneakers are killer at disney. I have tried every skecthers.. they were a real disspointment- felt good for a few weeks and then they do not provide enough support..

I agree about the tevas- I have not broken down and bought a pair but a lot of my friends swear by them. Also is if you are looking for every day shoes.... Life strides I have found have worked the best for my now my ugly wide flat feet..

I feel ya!! Having 2 babies did that to me too!! Not only were they wide to begin with, they grew and grew with the pregnancies. I also have problems with one of my feet which I see a podiatrist for (plantar fasciitis and morton's neuroma). He got me hooked on Ryka (a women's only shoe - have tennis shoes, casual shoes, flip flops with memory foam). I love them!! Talk about memory foam! Skechers has nothing on these, in my opinion. Anyway, big Ryka fan as well as New Balance. My poditatrist is a fan of Brooks as well. The other tip he gave me (which i try to wear on the regular around the house) are good ole Crocs. I've had a double bunionectomy and have arthritis in my left big toe and wide feet. Last year I alternated between Skethers Gliers and sketchers flip flops, both were fantastic, I walked miles with no ankle swelling and feet recovered well each day.

My best friend has potatoes for feet. She buys Chacos in a men's size. She has the basic black and so do I and you can't tell a difference between the men's and women's. They are great shoes and they come in a variety of fun colors.

I tried the Teva Verra but they were too tight, it looks like the Teva Terra FI has more adjustment options.

I have wide feet as well. Only walking/running shoes I wear are made by New Balance. If you can find a store near you, they are awesome at measuring and fitting your feet correctly. If not, many stores carry the New Balance brand. The one that works for me also has a wide toe box which keeps my toes nice and comfy. They change style numbers every few years so I usually go in and get fitted with the new style, then if I need another pair later on, I order it on line for less at zappos or another on line store. My current style is 840 with a little 3 after the number. It is a running shoe. I don't run but walk about 2-3 miles every day so my doc said to get a running shoe. I highly recommend New Balance and have not worn another brand in about 8 years due to wide feet. I also use an insert called Superfeet which cushion and correct overpronation (the green ones).
