We will be traveling to WDW at the end of September & are trying to figure out a good time to visit Typhoon Lagoon.

We have breakfast scheduled on Tuesday morning at Chef Mickeys & we were thinking about going Tuesday afternoon - after Animal Kingdom.

What is the best time to go? Is it better in the morning or afternoon? What week day is better?

Thanks again!

Afternoons are okay, but not as good as being there when the park opens. You have a better chance of finding a nice spot to sit, and you won't have to wait in long lines. Our morning experiences at any of the water parks have always been more enjoyable.:D

We love Typhoon Lagoon, and can easily spend at least 4 hours there. Depending on the time of year, TL is likely to close at 6pm, so that may affect your plans.

I vote for Morning. We were there this past Feb. and we were waiting in line for it to open when they picked my daughter to be "the big Kahuna" this ment we were given 1st class treatment all day. We got to go in the park 1st, a free locker, free refillable mug, my dd got to start the waves, we got a special seating area and all the free rental towels we wanted. It was great and a day my dd will never forget. She was 10 and I'm asuming they pick someone every day around this age to do this. Just get there early!:smooth:

We did Typhoon Lagoon last week on Wed morning. We got there just past opening, since our bus was sooo late picking us all up! A lot of the better seats were gone already. But we did find some that were okay. About 11:00 it got really crowded in the wave pool. We were glad that we had already been in it at 9:30 until 10:15. Then we did the lazy river and family raft slide. Went back to the wave pool around 11 and it was jammed!!! Stayed until 12 or so and then packed up. THe place was really cranking by then. I would suggest you get there early.

Could you guys tell me what I have to be excited about at Typhoon Lagoon. I am going the first week of December, and of course I'm all Jacked up to go on the awesome slides at Blizzard Beach, then I find out today it won't happen. BUMMER. I heard the kids area in BB was better also. Should I bother wasting my time going to TL if I'm only going to be there a week ??
