My kids love pools. I hate crowds.

What do you think the best week of the year to visit is that you can still swim without coming out of the pool with shivers?

Sometime in September.

I would agree with Robo. September.

But most days in October are also really good pool days as well. But late October the evenings are starting to get cool so if not shivering when you get out of the pool is desired than September is a safe bet..but the days will still be quite hot.

I think October is really the perfect month to go.

I love October too! We traveled in November, December, and January. Hit or miss, really and lately....more miss.

We have enjoyed swimming in January and February
but then again we are from north east wisconsin

We've been there a few times in late September, early October. It's still HOT but crowds not crazy!

All of our trips have been the last week of September, and it's HOT so pools are great, and crowds aren't bad.

Crowds are great in September but when PP say it's hot, it's HOT! Like draining hot. If your not one to deal with humidity and the heat don't do september. We love sept because of the crowd levels and promos running and we can handle fine in 90+ degree weather during the day but if you can't, I wouldn't try it. My FIL joined us twice in sept and each time it was just too much for him. The nights and late afternoons are nice though for weather wise.

The three times I've been with the kids: Feb, April, October. We were able to swim in April and October but Feb was too cold.

This is really personal- at what temperature do they get cold? Some kids can swim in anything. Others won't go in a pool if it isn't at least 90 outside.

Agree with September. We were there the week before Thanksgiving and experienced some really cold temps - a few days it didn't get out of the 60s. Even on days it made it to the mid-upper 70s, it didn't get that warm until pretty late in the day. We attempted swimming twice, and both times lasted 20 minutes.

From what I understand the pools are heated.. So the water is fine.. It's getting out and getting cold...November you can swim but prob only in the afternoon.. Never been in December.. Icy you can pretty much swim anytime..jan-Feb depends...

We went one time the last week of April and first week of May, the crowds weren't too bad and we definitely enjoyed the pools, went to both water parks.
