Best time to go

Talking with dh tonight and he asked when is th best time to go to Disney. June or September ? We though we would travel don in September but if discounts are more plentiful in the summer we might just go then. Any thought?

Pretty sure September is one of the cheapest times to go, but im always concerned about Hurricanes at that time of year...if it wasnt for that thought of hurricanes, September would probably be a wonderful time to visit!

A good way of gauging the amount of discounts and crowd levels is to think of school or no school.

If schools have breaks during the year, and summer off, expect crowds to be higher and less discounts. It is not just kids off from school, but teachers, school administration, etc., that cannot take off during time when there is school.

So starting in early June, as soon as schools are letting out, you see less and less discounts and crowds go way up.

When kids in the Northeast start to go back to school in late August, the crowd levels start to go down and there are discounts until the Thanksgiving break starts.

my cousin goes in sept/oct cheaper i will never take my kids out of school for a trip so i pay full price in the summer .
